What are your mains going to be in classic?

Shaman, Rshaman for Pve and Ele for PvP

Looking forward to using all my gold on respec cost and consumables

Hunter always calls to me. Played this bad boy since the beginning and was one of my 2nd characters.

I’d like to try something else though.

…and your other 2nd character was…?

Ba dum dum ta!

This was my 2nd toon, I rolled a drood first and fell of the ol tree at Darnasus.

I think everyone fell off the tree when you had to go find a saytr that was just standing on a branch in the middle of no where.

I was just exploring the city and …

Whoops…wtf…

Tried swimming for a few minutes and was like maybe I’ll try another class for fun.

My whole original Classic experience was horde priest. Going to try holy paladin this time around.

I created my first Ret Paladin Sep. 2004 in Beta, played Ret and a hybrid spec (something like 11/19/21) throughout Vanilla, Ret/Prot in BC, and Ret/Holy ever since. I’ll have two Pallies for sure in Classic, a third if I decide to do a true Prot spec - and lawl at myself trying to succeed at the Prot thing

The main will absolutely be the Ret though. Great for soloing and 5-mans, and utility master in raids (assuming I get an invite).

Afterthought - My account says I started Nov 2016 (late Vanilla). I rage quit in Vanilla due to rets being ‘nerfed’ - found out later Seal of Crusader was OP so it was corrected - I blame naivety for my excuse. Back then there wasn’t a digital download, and I went so far as to throw away the install disc, so it’s lost forever, and I had to create a new account.

I played on a vanilla private server to see what classes I liked. I had a lot of fun with warlock

A human holy pally because it’s 2018 and men can wear dresses.

I plan on having a Gnome Warlock as my main in Classic, with a Nelf Druid, Human Pali, a Hunter (torn between human and Nelf, might go Nelf), human Mage as my alts for the questing.

pretty sure hunter is only NE/Dwarf

Main: Horde Hunter. Haven’t decided on race yet. Probably Troll.
Off Main: Night Elf Hunter.

No human hunters in classic, sorry

Wut. Wait… But… why weren’t they in Classic?

Human Hunter’s were not added until somewhere in 2016. Undead also became Hunter’s at the same time.

Nelf it is, then. Still odd that Blizz restricted them so heavily in Classic.

Good choice  and not really. That’s just part of game progression. No masterpiece starts fully complete.

Shaman or rogue :sunglasses:

It’s more a matter of my situational viability than it is my raw ability to run - though don’t get me wrong that’s definitely important!

I never felt as declawed on the priest… As Disc I had strong shields, improved mana burn, feedback, offensive dispels, fear, and although obviously my damage wasn’t great, I was able to make myself enough of a porcupine that many people would probably prefer to leave me be. Not dangerous by any stretch of the imagination - but depending on what was bothering me, my mileage may have varied!

I see so many talking about having many alts. Do you all not remember how much more of a grind Classic is. Grind your main up to 60. Grind out your professions. Grind for gear to do raids. Finally you have gear to get you into raids? Now you can grind for raid regents every week. I didn’t even mention the grind for coin for your mount.
For me I’m torn. My original classic 60 was a Nelf Hunter. After BC I swapped to tanking. Mainly Pally but have had Warrior and Bears too. I enjoy tanking a lot so Warriors are a definite possibly. How ever there is that nostalgia of the hunter class for me. Even though I remember how bad they were in classic raids. Hunters did not start to dominate DPS till BC. So hard to choose.
