I rarely feel gratefull to be honest… i treat it as a trophy reward thing, only few worthy stuff gets it.
I am thankful when people engage (friendly), even if briefly. I’m doing the secret event right now and it’s fun seeing people help each other out in the world and get excited about finding things or beating the pet battle.
I’m thankful the sky isn’t falling…yet ![]()
I’m thankful for all that life has given me whether I wanted it or not as it shaped who I’ve become.
I’m thankful for a wonderful 48 year marriage with a wife who is way out of my league.
I’m thankful to be in good health physically and mentally.
I am thankful for all the people who made this game a reality along with all the other players that I’ve come to know, be it years of friendship or just a moment to give a buff in the middle of nowhere.
All of the QoL changes over the last 19 years
- No more having to carry Flint and Tinder and the Simple Wood just to make a fire to cook food to feed hunter pets to give them better damage output and prevent them from either running away, or turning and attacking me with that little red frowny face icon
- Not having to equip a fishing pole, also not having it be a stick with string
- No more having some bored bozo enslaving a drake from Burning Stepps into Goldshire and then releasing it in the Inn only to enslave it again and wait for more people to load in
- Flight paths that are slightly more direct and not so much scenic route, also for having more FPs in zones and not having to run into another zone just because they have a flight path
- No more losing a bag slot cause I have to have bullets or arrows
- No more walking til lvl 40 just to get one slow horse/saber to ride
- Being able to get rid of my personal guild with the introduction of Warband bank tabs
- Renown replacing Rep as the new account wide standard
- No more farming shards in DireMaul on my warlock just so I could cast spells in the raid that night
- The introduction of Class Halls that made classes feel unique again and gave them purpose in the RPG and not just the end game PvE roster
- All of the Soloable content that gives me something to look forward to when I log in each day
- More toys under the tree during Winter Veil
- No more mission tables to keep up with
- Professions from Classic - MoP, not convoluted and spread out into quests and 10k crafting materials
- My friends and guildmates to PUG with allowing me to forget there is a Vote Kick mechanic, and getting trolled by it.
- The ability to have Alliance and Horde on the same server, and now with warbands help both sides without having to use Booty Bay AH and have a friend help.
I’m sure there are 50 more things, but this feels good.
so let me get this straight instead of posting this in the other thread you went in here and made this passive aggressive post in this thread.

your not thankful for any of the that your just doing this to agitate the forums.
back on ignore you go.
What?
Which thread?
I was trying to be nice. How was I passive agressive?

glory to the sindorei
- WoW’s art and music, their attention to all the little details.
- New friends met while pugging, taking a chance by inviting some to discord, having it go well and now we game together several times a week.
- A stable guild of nice people that’s been continuously active since the first month of Vanilla.
I’m thankful for my various guild mates I’ve had since WoD that turned my perspective on guilds from negative to very positive.
I’m thankful for all the friends I’ve made through WoW, especially those I may go through tough times with or disagree with, but we are still friends today.
I am thankful for my eventual player
that I will have, in a stormy location, with elemental servants, and a petting zoo for mounts (hint hint)
One time I got kicked from the forums for saying hello.
I have told my Friends that i have a bad vibe about a pug simply because they didn’t say hello, and sure enough, the no hello types are usually the ones to rage quit over a single wipe lol
Monster gals.

Also guns. Love guns.
