Derry Girls!
Only thing I’ve been watching is Invincible and falcon and the winter soldier every Friday.
I sold my invincible #1 9.6 grade last year for like $500 and now it’s going for almost three times that!
Good story, and the series is awesome!
It’s the first 3 books I can buy online the digital copy but I like physical copies. I bought one in pretty good condition otherwise I could of gotten for less. The other books is the big one I forget what it’s called but there is only 3 of um in that series.
The first one has some rogue or lock looking guy 2nd one had I think guldan and 3rd one has that night elf chick tyrande
I have been watching the Pink Panther cartoons lately. I like watching some of the very old cartoons every once in a while, especially early seasons of Scobby Doo lol.
I recently finished reading Matt Ridley’s “The Agile Gene” which was an interesting read. Its a fairly informative summary of the nature vs. nurture debate circa 2000. I think my next read will either be Dawkins’ “The Blind Watchmaker” or Crosby’s “The Colombian Exchange.” I’ve been on a real evolutionary/biological kick for the past few months, having also finished “The Selfish Gene” and parts of “The Extended Phenotype.”
Some other books I’ve finished recently:
“The Passion of the Western Mind” by Richard Tarnas (survey of Western philosophy)
“Darwin’s Dangerous Idea” by Daniel Dennet (tough philosophical read)
“Marco Polo” by Laurence Bergreen (OK book about Marco Polo’s adventures)
Maybe I can get some further recommendations from the forums?
I don’t watch many “TV” shows. The last one I binged watched was season 1 of Altered Carbon on Netflix a couple years back. I thought that was an excellent sci-fi show. Sometimes I just let Star Trek TNG play continuously while I am busy around the house. That’s always fun.
I really need to pick up Kahneman’s book again. I started it a few years back but got distracted and haven’t been able to get around to reading it again.
I’m currently reading the entire Calvin and Hobbes collection. Next up is probably the Middle Earth saga, starting with The Silmarillion. For watching, I’m doing the more essential Star Trek TNG episodes, and then I’ll watch the movies.
I honestly prefer it to ATLA. I enjoy Korra as a protagonist a lot more than I ever did Aang, and the older tone fits better with the subject matter than the dissonance of an entire series revolving around a genocidal war with a PG rating.
Not reading anything at the moment, but I am working on the revision of my own YA fantasy novel.
This doesn’t sound/look like covers of War of the Ancients which I enjoyed reading and would recommend. Might be older versions.
Sorry about digital copies; can’t read them in that format myself. Too bad internet weirdness makes one so cautious of sharing personal info because I’d just send them to you.
I should be working on 2nd draft of mine, but need to pull away from playing (not necessarily a bad thing) to write. Playing seems to suck my creativity. Not the only one when speaking with other former players who noticed the same occurrence.
My wife and I just finished watching season 6 of The Blacklist on Netflix. S7 is airing now, but not yet on Netflix. Fantastic show.
Stargate SG-1
The lost world…
On audiobook…does that count?
I like hearing this guy do all the girl voices hehe
Steven Erikson malazan trilogy.
On the the third or fourth read/listen. It’s that good.
not really binging any tv right now as theres nothing i havent seen that i want to… but true crime murder documentaries are my jam. im watching Rifkin on Rifkin: Private Confessions of a Serial Killer. not to far into it, but its interesting. Oh and on Peacock, which should be free, the John Wayne Gacy docu-series is good. it was weird seeing places i know being in a murder doc…
for reading, im finishing up The Walking Dead comics, i have like 3 or 4 volumes left, and then i have the 6 Omnibus Volumes of The Boys ill start on afterwards. and then i have a hard cover of the original TMNT volume 1, the dark gritty TMNT, not the kids show.

The Voice and the Vessel is really good. the other two aren’t completed.
i got the volume 1 of Chronicles book which is just a 3 set volume that is the one with the warlock looking guy on it forget what it was about but i think this is pre WoW.
the other book is WoW archive which is Day of the dragon, Lord of the clans, Of Blood and honor, and The last guardian. this is the one that costed the most cause Of blood and honor isn’t sold seperately i think and they dont make it anymore so everything is all USED and the only brand new one i seen is on Amazon for about $600. kinda cheap still if used but the quality is where the prices vary.
Then i got this 2 in one book which is Rise of the horde + Lord of the clans idk wth the difference is it says “illustrated novel” so i assume it just has some pics but i bought this before the Archive one and was the only WoW book i could find at Barnes and Noble here which is like our only book store.
I got Before the storm when it came out somewhere in my closet and i think i still have the Arthas book as well. Also got the WoW SL art book since i got the CE SL box. don’t normally buy CE boxes but this one was nice so i bought it plus bday present to myself since SL was supposed to launch 2 days before my bday before they post poned it.
i didn’t read none of them yet but figure i should since i want to learn more about the lore instead of listening to some boring youtuber talk about it in like a 15min video and not understand wtf they are talking about since they pretty much just talking fast to get all the info in on 1 video.
Yeah, definitely in the same boat, here.
40k Xenos audiobook - Eisenhorn.
Chronicles of Nagash. I am re-reading how he crushes the army of Ka-Sabar.
I’ve been binge watching it since day one . All 3 versions are on my watch list and there is a talk of a 4th series coming set in Hawaii.
