debatable pending on how you enjoy playing the game. From a raid perspective bfa was 10000 times better than legion. No raid was under tuned to all hell making it about as simple as a normal dungeon (Emerald nightmare) and they came out at a decent pacing between ptr (testing for a raid tier started before top 50 guilds had even cleared the previous one). The heavy requirments for lego’s that you could not farm for and had a hard cap of 4 until the end of nightwell so if you got 4 that was meh you was sh*t out of luck. In comparison to bfa raids legion was a dumpster fire.
Even if you raid, raids are a tiny part of your gameplay. The fact is that BFA is a grindy mess with minimal game systems as everything is just bound up to rep and azerite. Making everything feel repetitive. If all the content is tied up into one mechanic that content doesnt feel different from eachother because the reward structure is the same.
BFA was made like a hamster wheel and is incredibly boring.
Most excited for Covenant system. Covenants should be MORE like factions and we should have that Covenant pride going on.
Least excited for not having a new class.
your debate is bfa is a grindy mess compared to legion yet legion had more grind and rng to it. Legion had lego grind/rng/proc, Nether light crucible grind/rng/proc. artifact weapon grind/rng/proc on top of the systems that are both in bfa and legion.
Most excited for Torghast and new dungeons. Covenants look very underwhelming.
Legendaries are a hell of a lot more fun than Azerite. The removal of tier pieces made it way more rng. Hell of a lot more easier getting your tier pieces then your perfect azerite pieces. They knew how cookie cutter everything is and still added 50000 azerite pieces where only like 2 or 3 for each slot is even useful. BFA is utter trash, raids are well made and it looks beautiful but everything else is trash.
Making alts isnt even an option unless you feel like gaining exalted with a bunch of factions and YAY more dailies. nah man, sure it slightly sucked doing some campaign quests and get leggos and some tier pieces but its nothing compared to get essences in BFA. Legion was miles better than BFA.

I give you alts is something we can both agree on here thats horrid in bfa it really is much more so than legion. The rep grind was a thing in both expansions so not sure why you are making it a bfa thing though? As for aze traits vs tier I never kept 2 peices from the old content with 4 from the new like people did with tier. new azerite has always been the better

Most : Oribos the Eternal City will probably be breathtaking. New character costumization, and the opportunity to play an entire expansion while leveling.
Least : Someone once made a whole thread about this and it was not well received (big surprise), but I’m not excited about collecting Anima. I would be more comfortable collecting severed heads than I am with collecting souls.
As weird as it is to think this, there will come a time, fairly soon, where most of us will look back fondly on BfA.
It’s really not that bad but it is definitely weird.
I think I speak for most when I say “the thing I’m most excited for is it no longer being BfA”.
Realistically it was BfA with legendaries, the biggest difference between Legion and BfA was simply the fact that AP wasn’t restricted to very limited forms of content.
It’s not much of a difference on paper but in reality it made a huge difference to player perception as players didn’t feel forced to do X content to get their AP each week or be significantly behind.
I dunno…not sure I’ll ever look back fondly on “cool I got a 30 ilvl upgrade! Oh…but I can’t use it until I grind 3 more weeks of islands to get my AP level up to unlock the same abilities that 370 piece has…”

Most: The great unpruning of classes. Every class will likely feel very rich once again.
Least: Covenants. Great on paper, might be a large mess. We will need to see.
