They’re more popular than I ever imagined they’d be. I remember buying that album way back in the day before the internet was a thing.

I remember being given this album for free from a music store one day. Clerk just handed it to me and said it’s free. Turned out to be awesome. It may have even been the day I bought the MOD album.

Soen’s Lotus is a serious contender for metal album of the year. They had a very Tool-esque sound for their first couple of albums, but this release and the previous Lykaia saw Soen grow into their own, and man, it’s been so excellent to listen to.
