Now time for some proper breakbeat hardcore, from a while back. Coming from a small town where you simply did not hear music like this, when I landed as a young kid in LA in '92, these sounds blew my mind. This was one of the first electronic / dance CDs I bought, recommended by a friend of mine at work.

“Equal rights and justice in this time.” We’re still trying.

I was pretty good friends with Ray Herrera for years. Not that I was … quite into his type of music… though some of the remixed Fear Factory stuff that had a more electronic vibe was alright. Like these:


Funny enough, aside from the death metal / grindcore stuff, he was also a massive fan of electronic and dance, always putting on Prodigy (see my previous post) or some jungle or something hardcore.
