Wasn’t really a fan of this Foo Fighters song until I learned the lead singer wrote it for his mother who died last year. The song takes nearly 3 minutes to kick in though.

So I go into the breakroom at work today and everyone is sitting around, either on the company computers or at the tables texting on their cellphones, I look at this for a minute then go “I guess the Eagles were right, we really are just prisoners here of our own device.”, at which point one of the younger coworkers looks up and, with all sincerity, asks “Who?”
“The Eagles?”
“Is that some band?”

So now I have a migraine…
