I just happened to have this playing when I checked this thread. I saw Donald Fagen with New York Rock and Soul Review, which was a collection of various artists including Boz Scaggs, Phoebe Snow, Michael McDonald, Walter Becker… and some others.

He really reminds me of Pere Ubu, who I posted earlier, so I’ll post this instead because it’s something I think you’ll like.

I’m absolutely kicking myself for not seeing the Dukes of September when they rolled through town about ten years ago. I had the “Live at the Beacon” CD … may still have it in a box in the garage, but it’s been years since I had a CD player.
