Though Iām a basically happy and content person (despite it all), I do continuously struggle against an incredible loneliness in life.
This song, more than any other Iām aware of, gets me. The lyrics are simple, but their truth is profound.
If you understand, then you understand; and if you donātā¦ thatās ok too.
Iāll post something cheerier later but, for now, this is weighing on me. I appreciate being able to share.

I understand that feeling well. I find sad songs make me feel better when Iām sad. Itās like someone out there understands through the music and lyrics and it feels pretty good to know someone out there gets it. I donāt feel so alone after that.
