For some reason this has been playing in my head recently…

Believe it or not, this song didn’t come from heavy drug usage. John Lennon was a very deep song writer, very deep, fans back in the day were always over-analyzing his work, nitpicking the details, and looking for the inner meanings of the lyrics. According to legend John got tired of all that and on a lark wrote this silly little thing, basically going “Here, analyze This!”. John Lennon, the original Troll.

I’m irritated that I don’t like the recent Gorillaz album. I tried so dang hard to give it multiple chances.

The Now Now is one of my fav albums period from all my taste in bands. Going from that to just not feeling Song Machine. Irritating. And I can’t even figure out why I don’t like it. Everything sounds decent but I just can’t get myself to care compared to The Now Now.
