It kind blows my mind that there is greater passage of time between now and this DT album than between the time âdistanceâ between Pink Floydâs Wall and this album
Itâs not the same raw Wakeman/Bruford iteration of Yes, but this one is nicely polished and still has that same great Chris Squire rhythm and Anderson virtuosity

Can hear some more of that Squire songwriting here:
iâve search this for years!

For sure. My mom had this on repeat (all of 90125, actually) when it came out back in the day. I was eight at the time, really dug the album, made a tape copy and was probably the only kid banging Yes on his boombox (followed by New Edition, UTFO, then Beatles and probably Gary Numan.)
I was weird âuniqueâ as a kid lol.
Edit: Realized I still do the same today, though a bit lighter on the New Edition ⌠and sans boom box.
So uh⌠this is embarrassing.
I used to clown on kpop all the time because of how annoying kpop stans on twitter. And they are, but I actually listened to some, and⌠I actually like some of it. Not really a fan of BTS, but I stumbled on this one group called GOT7 and I love how their songs sound. Donât understand them but they sound much better than most of the modern pop crap they play on the radio. Still not my favorite genre of music in general, but compared to most other modern pop itâs my favorite.

You can critique the idol industry all you want, and a lot of it is deserved, but you canât deny the amount of work that went in to a MV like that.
A lot of Doom and Stoner metal. Mostly because there is something about good guitar and bass riffs coming out of tube amps with a thick layer of fuzz.

Nah! Nothing embarrassing at all. I think one of the coolest things about music is that you can explore genres you never, ever have before, and more often than not, come away with something you like or love. Maybe you fall in love with the genre, maybe not, but the tunes you end up enjoying are like little gems in your head that will never fade.
Everyoneâs unique musical taste is awesome.
On that note, I like disco. Love it, actually. There ya go.
Iâve not done Kpop myself, at all, but one day Iâm sure Iâll get around to it, and likely after just a few tunes Iâll be tapping my foot and bobbing my head to something or other.
Edit: that track you posted is truly my very first exposure to any K-pop, and I dig it. Itâs got a cool RnB vibe that I like, great beat too, very danceable. Thanks!
