Could you list more specifics? I didn’t play horde in vanilla so don’t really have a frame of reference. I want to play horde this time since I switched to horde in mid TBC.

That’s pretty much where I’m at. The raids took so long especially with the trash.
Luckily I got to see most of the content in vanilla raiding already except about half of Naxx. So I will probably be a bench warmer for a guild or just run with a pug when I do have some time. No way can I be a committed raider as I was before.

Yeah me too, I got through BWL with my guild, and raided with an Australian guild at night through AQ40 and Naxx so I’ve seen it all - but it’s just FUN.

Will be trying to do it as best I can and hoping for more PVP this time, maybe.

For me it’s going to be how much an advantage Alliance has over Horde in almost every aspect of the game, from leveling and pvp, Alliance just has it easier. Horde won’t have enough quests to get to max level by questing and their zones and FP are atrocious.

While people will always claim about the races being “ugly” a big reason I think the Alliance were more popular is due to the big advantages the Alliance had.

even though that is true- it is mostly player population due to races. hence why horde got blood elves to start with. the faction imbalance was insane.

the only semi good thing that the horde had going for them, were racials. but as you know, that wasnt enough to make people want to PLAY them.

thats just something we have to accept. but most of all, i want to believe that there are real horde players (at heart) that will stick with their home faction come classic. ‘if i knew then, what i know now’ kind of thing.

i started as alliance in vanilla and then switched in bc and have been horde ever since then. there is no way that i am maining alliance this time around too.

I’ll never play Alliance. Tried it for 2 weeks, years ago, and felt like I developed a tumor. Horde all the way.

Running out of food or bandages, long PvP que times, people trying to change the game to be “better” than retail, people who will zip through all the content so quickly they’ll beg for more content to be added.

whoever said go to darnassus and then run down the whole length of kalimdor to get to un’goro, well there’s an easier way. boat to theramore from menethil harbor in wetlands, then swim to tanaris, from there (dont forget to get the theramore and gadgetzan flight points so next time you can fly to the area), run on foot to un’goro. 2 boats come to the menethil harbor docks in vanilla, one to darnassus and one to theramore.

according to the classic wiki, marshall’s refuge has only fp in un’goro, be sure to get it while there. its on the northern rim of crater (not marshall’s stand but marshall’s refuge

In AV alliance has is better, but for all other pvp the horde have the advantage for sure. War stomp, Will of the Forsaken, and Orcs passive 25% stun resist are much better than what the alliance get.

Well there was a point when you could cast and it wouldn’t break Shadowmeld until the cast finished, that was OP for sure. A free aimed shot for hunters and I threw tons of people off of the Arathi Basin lumber mill with mind control ha.

Every single base for Alliance whether in bg or open world is just designed better with the sole exception being in aerathi. Sure Horde had better racials but in Vanilla racials didn’t mean all that much especially when the bg trinket came into play.

Also no one can day a dn thing about the leveling experience, Alliance had more zones, more quest hubs, and more quests than Horde. This was one of the reasons the Cataclysm happened was to balance things for the Horde .

I’m actually lpoking forward to Dire Maul available at launch it will make it so casual players don’t instantly fall behind at level 60.
