The ah doesn’t inherently create rmt. If rmt was eliminated from the game, the ah goes merrily on. GDKPs, on the other hand, cease to exist.

Take a brand new fresh server. Within the first hour is there rmt? Of course not. But the auction house will be there doing its thing. Simple supply and demand.
GDKPs, however, would not exist. Even if characters were immediately boosted to max GDKPs wouldn’t exist. They require that huge gold seed money. And that comes from rmt.
You simply have no clue what you’re talking about.

The reason most everyone has always bought gold is because they’re incapable of farming because they’re lazy OR the bitters corner the market.
Thankfully there are other legitimate ways to make gold in this game.
A server economy being “FRESH” lasts a whole 5 days max.
Because players want to be lazy turds and not farm mats and things they buy gold and that funds new bots to be made to farm even more mats and gold.
Lazy worms are why the economy is trashed.

I’m not convinced this is the case and I would love if next fresh blizzard says we’ll allow
GDKPs but we’ll perma ban all gold buyers/sellers. It would be very interesting to see what happens there.
