I’d guess Ankoan and Kelfin. They both already have content, a rep that people have already been working on, and several NPCs, so they wouldn’t have to come completely out of nowhere like VE.
I think the “this skeleton hasn’t been used yet” argument is weak. Blizzard isn’t bound by that unless they choose to be. There can be three goblin skeleton races (especially since one of them doesn’t look like goblins the way HMT look like Mulgore tauren, etc.)
P.S. Although having read through the thread, Mogu and Tol’vir would also be pretty awesome, and they will also have content next patch. Not sure about NPCs with real personality that could be racial leader candidates, though. Who could possibly compare to Neri?
Horde will get something amazing and Alliance will get a cube.

Now that we have vulpera I am pretty pleased, I could see high elves being given or the shiny undead though as far as the few races I would love to see…
I would adore alliance getting Gnolls, hogger leading them as their racial leader and naga for either faction now that squidward was killed in her palace. Not that either of those are going to happen, still really happy with vulpera so they would just be icing on the cake.
Obviously there’s a lightforged/redeemed undead faction on the way. Most likely going to Alliance because the only thing that even so much as shares a Worgen rig in BFA are the Sethrakk, which clearly have more reasons to join up with Horde than they do the Alliance, barring some sort of big plot twist.
And then if they’re going to toss in a neutral AR to match the Pandas, we’re about to start building rep with some neutral Mogu.
This all seems pretty cut and dry to me.
Agreed, I think we’re good to go for a bit, unless the dev team wants to build new AR’s from the ground up, I’m kinda tired of reskins
I think we’ve seen the last of the Allied Races. That was BFA’s gimmick they’ll probably add some new grindy gimmick the next upcoming expansion.

This pretty much expect another rep grind and some folks being upset bigger question is will they go back to adding races to the roster like before or is this gonna become a new Blizzard standard like Pathfinder.
This isn’t obvious. It has been suspected because of Calia’s involvement, but there is no guarantee that she will be leader. Much of it has been inferred by the player base but in no way an absolute.
I don’t know but I wouldn’t be surprised if they said allied races were only available for a limited time to unlock to artificially push up subscription numbers.

Unfortunately, I think that’s most likely Undead’s AR, so Blizz can sneak in the “pretty” undead that are popular in China, but now that Blizz is doing AR that are unrelated to their original counterpart, I could be wrong.

Horde: Buff Amani Trolls because the Horde needs another druid race. And a bear would make for a nice racial mount.
Alliance: Arathi Humans because the Alliance can use another horse. And since they will have the exact model as Stormwind Humans, developers will have more time to adjust orc skeletons for the Amani Trolls.

Alliance - Broken, Void Humans, Mecha-Dwarves
Horde - Sethrak, High Elves, Ogres
Naga the race originally planned as a neutral race for vanilla wow.
