I wish we could “tame” mounts and place them on the AH like you can with caging battle pets. I don’t recall any official position on this being stated(if someone knows of one please link for my curiosity) previously. Players already sell runs for certain mount runs so it already happens(with less accountability than an AH). It would be an interesting addition and would make those duplicate drops feel a little better/have more purpose.
Certain pets are not able to be caged and a similar method could work for “taming” where some mounts could not be put on the AH(glad mounts etc).
Could be neat. Not necessary but just a little extra personality to the mount system.

I dont think a single ‘tameable’ battle pet can be caged. Its all ones that are drops or bought from vendors afaik.

Yeah sorta. Just extend the concept further.
Sorta like all the current AOTC sell groups etc? I’d imagine it would just be less spam if they could just be put on the AH instead of “WTS “x” run” in the group finder.
Imagine getting your account hacked just to recover it and find out all your mounts were sold on the AH.
They already have mounts that can be farmed and put up on the AH.
And guess what you can’t ‘tame’ battle pets and put those up on the AH. The wild pets aren’t cageable so there is no ‘like you can’.

I like the idea.
I like even more the idea that hunters could create mounts out of most beast-type mobs, cage 'em, and put those on the AH. Leave the mount drops and purchased to weirder things.
I would love to be able to collect wild-caught mounts like I can pets.
have some mini game to taming them like the horses in BoTW…

That just made me want to throw up. My SWTOR account got hacked and they deleted all my characters. Got them restored, but I lost things. Stuff I bought with the cartel coins. Coins I paid real money for. Only to be told by a GM to go… F myself.
Yeah. What if you had to use your battle pets to do it, but it was like one of those max raid battles where it’s 4 people vs a giant mount. You use one pet each and you all capture it if you win. That’d be sick
