I also got my night elf mage as darkmoon carnie. Since nelf mages are meh thing in lore, fits well for Darkmoon magician tho.

I could see that more as a character class than a race.
However, I get the sense that Metzen somehow forced Blizz to sign some legal paperwork preventing them from ever adding a Bard class to the game, and clowns may fit under that category.
Shadowlands was developed by bozos, so why not?
