We need boosted honor for a shorter prepatch than classic. Why are they legit trying to ruin peoples fun.

They neefed it far to much its dumb, was actually excited to play but just got 58 honor for a loss in av , thats a hard pass for me

yea this too! the honor rate we had was perfect. They always want to ruin PvPers fun. Its sad.

Gotta take into account your daily BG and honor from HKâs, which does get slightly higher at 70. IIRC, daily BG win is like 800-ish honor which is HUGE, and youâll get the same amount of honor in HKâs as you do for winning. It is a big time sink, but its not as bad as ranking in classic.
u get 6 honor from a HK if u solo. In grp its 1
Daily BG win is 260 Honor
I was getting 14 from a solo kill. Daily BG right now is 260, its much higher at 70, and so is honor from HKâs.
If you play WSG you get 5 honor per kill, AB can be anywhere from 2-5, depending on how many people are close to you, in AV its one.
I am attaching screenshots taken in January 2008 which is NOT right before WotLK or anything else. it is one year into TBC.
I understand why people are upset but this fix almost definitely makes it mostly accurate. Iâm of the opinion that if you donât like PVP you shouldnât be doing BGs. if you do like PVP then great have fun in BGs and get some gear too. The gear is not required to go to Outlands. You can get Outlands gear by questing and running dungeons in Outlands.

Your screenshots arenât during prepatch doofus. Prepatch a bunch of people got gear. Marks were the bottleneck not honor. At lvl70 it scaled down for season gear.

it was longer but thatâs not relevant. I even would have preferred a longer pre-patch so I am not arguing that part. BG gear was never required go to into Outlands.
Yep, I did some sleuthing to figure out how much wins should be giving and came across this thread:

Theyâre discussing bonus honor, but you can see that Nethaera states "AV bonus weekend should be attached to the straight up objectives in the game. Bonus weekend should be âTower cap, bal/galv, GY cap, Van/Drek = double honorâ If a straight up win gets you 400-500 bonus honor on a nonweekend, you should get 800-1000 bonus honor on the AV weekend.

No, it wasnât. But we also never had fresh 58s~60 with terrible gear. Like, legitimately gear that is bad for the early 40s.
It also definitely wasnât that slow of an honour gain, and it was three times as long of a prepatch. Blizzard made the terrible changes to Arena for, âhealthy environmentâ reasons but this nerf and short prepatch is anything but âhealthyâ.

I know this already. if I had some screenshots I would include them. Where vs your proof that the prepatch honor was more? Provide it and youâll have a point. Why do you need easy mode PVP gear for Outlands?
Youâre asking us to go back 14 years to find evidence that the current terrible honour gain is not accurate, when this prepatch isnât accurate, the CE isnât accurate, the boosts arenât accurate, Draenei/BE in the prepatch arenât accurate, and the fantastically higher amount of players with way better gear is not accurate either.
Why is it a bad thing that people can get the R14 gear? What does it matter?

I donât care that they can get the R14 gear. it doesnât matter anymore.
The battlegrounds are gross though. Not even trying a BS fight for example just AFKing to get marks. Avoiding PVP at all costs. Iâm not going to say I agree with that. The Drek AV rush fine thatâs been going on forever but a lot of what people have been doing is pretty bad.
All I did was provide my screenshots and state my opinion. if you are going to attack my screenshots (my 13-year-old proof) then donât just go and attack me and name-call me. Provide your own. The blue post info provided was fine. If Iâm wrong thatâs ok. Unlike some (most of this forum) Iâll admit if Iâm wrong.
