Prevoker is insanely fun. Dev evoker less so.
What else ,Holy paladin.
My only issue with Prevoker is Big Blooms is a real mana hog. I do wish they would look into that. Most healers will be at like 40% mana by the end of most fights while Prevokers can be at under 5% mana.
I’ve mostly played resto druid, but also some Monk and Shaman.
Resto Druid is super fun if you like a more interesting dps rotation (can actually do most of Ferals rotation as a healer which is awesome).
Mists monk is fun but to much of their healing is baked into doing damage which is just weird tbh.
Havn’t played Shaman in a while, but I remember loving their “fatty” heals, and of course chain lightning /thunderstorm/earthquake is awesome.

mist is my favorite. i don’t care about esthetics or being thematic. i just like casting instas while channeling, the mobility, the impactful c/ds… there’s always something to do.
i don’t feel forced to melee or something bads gonna happen (a la pally). if things get ugly and i can’t concentrate, i just back roll outta the way and take stock.
dps can’t run from you easily, thats nice. ah, and monks can move while casting their version of tranq!

as a tank mains i like shamans because they put out the deeps. who needs heals these days?
pally in 10.1.5 going to be some OP stuff, with rework. can’t have a pally behind
Mistweaver. My heavy mastery “caster” build is just so satisfying. I love the monk aesthetic, but I wish the spell visuals would be updated. I also wish we had staff animations when we are fighting.
I’ve also been enjoying my holy priest. He’s just a side piece but I’ve got this trail of light build going that’s pretty fun.
Unfortunately community perception is not favorable bc “streamers” who don’t play MW ranked them as bottom tier healers. We have 2-3 viable builds right now for healing and are capable of doing all content.
Mop Disc priest was my favorite. This patch all healers are awful, and im not surprise there is a huge shortage of them since the 20% nerf.

She was a holy priest during a random TW dungeon a couple months ago. She just seemed super nice. She was probably my favorite.

I used to be in the same confused boat until I did some more digging.
Chi is basically the element of spirit being given form. While shamans control the physical elemental forces, monks learn to tap into themselves and summon the element of spirit, which is the element linked to life and spirituality.
It’s why they have empowered physical abilities and can use its energy to heal and even transport their spirit through transcendence. Anyone who learns the technique can do it, which is why all races have access when the pandas taught them how.

Part of my characters back story involves being shipwrecked on the Wandering Isle and learning from an old “retired” Pandaren monk. I love the lore, so I was determined to find a way to make work for another race.

Resto druid will always be my number one. My new favorite second is presto evoker!
I’m never calling them anything else now. Pesto evoker would be even better, because pesto.
