Everyone can post YouTube links, it’s a privilege of Trust Level 1.
This lounge was never actually intended to be IC, as there’s no roleplay or IC tag on it. It’s a community lounge, an OOC lounge for the players who frequent the forum.
You’re of course free to RP here, as I’ve seen done for years now in a sort of RP-lite (like making references to the real world, but still in-character), but that was never the intent.
