“Life can do that.”
so true
it inspires my “I wish I was 5 again” moments /giggle
“I know that feeling, all too well. The older you get, the more often those moments arise.”
/giggle
oh yes…so true
probably why I still collect the occasional barbie /giggle
Some things are a little better today I guess. Back then I was annoyed that linda carter’s wonder woman was the only girl hero on tv. Current generation gets Supergirl, a different Wonder Woman, and even Doctor Who /grin
“I not only collect them, I use them in Art Projects. I made Elves, and an Angel, for my Tree. I made a four level Diorama, scaled to Barbie, with three scenes using Barbies, and a top scene with smaller dolls. I also made a Halloween Diorama, of the Three Weird Sisters, from Macbeth, with a Tomb Entrance on top, with a Barbie as the Ghost in the Doorway.”
“And that is just my Holiday stuff.”
/grin
/giggle
“The first two are Christmas Themed.”
The weird sisters, those would be from MacBeth?
“Yeah. The three Witches that convinced him that he couldn’t be killed by any man born of Woman. The Double Trouble, Boil and Bubble Scene.”
“I sent you a link in Battle Net, since I can’t post any here.”
Very cool
Loved Macbeth
“I love Shakespeare. A Midsummer Night’s Dream is one of my most favorites.”
/grin
Cool, for me it was MacBeth. Got an odd copy of Ceaser though in my dvd collection. It had a very your charlton heston…it was so bad it was funny
“Back when I was attending City Collage, our Drama Class put on a Shakespeare Collection Of Scenes. I got to play Tatiana and Lady Macbeth.”
ahh so u understand then. Shakespeare can’t be read, it needs to be experienced
“True words.”
“Our Teacher even insisted we use an Annotated Version, of the plays, so we would understand EXACTLY what we were saying. He said it made for better performances. He was SOOOOOO right.”
Ever see the Star Trek opener where Data was trying his hand at the campfire scene from I think Henry V
“Yup, seen it.”
Small segment, but was surprised by it.
I guess Patrick Stewart has done a fair amount of Shakespeare too but I havent seen any of his yet
“Have you tried Youtube?”
