It was in Northern Darkshore. It would be like Sentinel Hill for humans or Maybe Crossroads for Tauren/Orcs.

Was a sweet little village. They destroyed it in Catacylsm. Loved the village. The cat quest lines were so soul crushing for nelfs, I just havent been able to go back after my first time through. The BFA warfronts are kind of my first time back to the zone since

So if it ever got rebuilt that would go a long way for me

“Unfortunately, I doubt it will happen, with Darkshore being what it is now. Plus if they rebuild that place, BEFORE giving the Nelfs a new Tree, it may upset too many players. Just a thought.”

From Classic-Litch King I frequented the zone regularly, loved it

Cat, the quests pretty much start you looking for surviviors (there aren’t many ).

The killer for me was a quest line involving Volcor and Grimclaw. Before Cat, you had a quest to reunite the two that had a happy ending.

Post Cat, volcor is a survivor of the destruction of auberine and you are sent to find his buddy grimclaw. You do find him, and heal/rescue him - sending him back to Volcor.

You figure hey, I did at least one positive thing in the Darkshore tragedy.
Then you get this from the Priestess who was tending to Volcor on your return

" You’ve returned! It is good to see you again. I suppose we have you to thank for Grimclaw’s return?

I’m afraid… I have some bad news. I’ve been unable to purge the toxin… their conditions worsen. Gershalla died shortly after you left, and Volcor… Volcor passed just before you came back.

He lived long enough to see Grimclaw come back safely, so he died with a smile on his face. I’m just sorry that I couldn’t do more.

For now, I’m doing everything I can to save Shadlyn, so please excuse me."

I cried and never returned to DarkShore to quest untill the warfront

I think I got all the mounts and pets, got the full 7th legion outfit too.

Loot’s not that great otherwise and Arathi just doesnt have the same feel for surfgirl that Darkshore does.

I might still come back and grind Ravenholdt Rep, but that would be about it at this point

Yeah, wasn’t much to get. Not even good RP for a nelf, so I got what I can

Darkshore I could still use the cloth outfit and I think 5 mounts
