If Alliance control it, all Horde entering will be flagged. If Horde has control, all Alliance entering will be flagged.

The easiest way to tell who has control is to check the Warfront table. If your faction doesn’t have a warfront queue available and isn’t gearing up to assault the zone in question, then your faction currently controls it and you won’t be flagged unless you fly into the small enemy camp in the zone

I’m not sure where all the camps are, but if a mob has a PvP tag under the name engaging with it will flag you. The camp guards are typically in a more remote location though and don’t generally roam around, so the likelihood of accidentally getting flagged is pretty low. If it does happen it’s generally easy to fly to a safe spot and wait for it to wear off, or hearth out.

I got a drop from DA as a bonus roll. Felt nice, but also a bit lackluster as I was already 370 before the raid started. I feel like bonus roll loot should always warforge since it’s non-tradeable anyway.

Ah that sucks. My guilds kept doing that in Legion so I started pugging. This group kept inviting me after I filled in for their tank, despite my crappy dps at the time. I eventually server transferred to join them officially.
