The irony to this being, WotLK and MoP being the only two expansions to objectively keep their start of expansion hype numbers nearly all the way through according to sub data prior to WoD. Legion may be up there, but since they switched to vague MAUs at the end of WoD it’s impossible to say how Legion, BFA, or SL rank in terms of actual engagement.
