I get what your saying, but it’s part of the history, sinful brand was awful anyway. The other abilities are at least engaging.

i think it’s great. people have always complained that it makes no sense that our characters somehow forget abilities from one expansion to the next.

I have said from the beginning that demonic power does not fit with angelic powers, they did not even give that to the Warlock even though it went well with a covenant not adaptable to their class essence that was the nightfaes, but at least that was tolerable.
That’s why except in Monks, priest, Warriors and Pallies, the kirians suck STARTING WITH PELAGOS.!!!
It’s the bad thing with other classes that lose their essence by acquiring their powers from the pacts, which we will continue to see in Dragonflight’s talents, a reason that is another reason why shadowlands are hated, and that not-so-new essence of the new expansion dirty the quality of the expansion, which we do not know if it will follow the same steps of being bad as the previous one.

I just wish some classes and specs would have gotten more options for some of those abilities, Blizz could have most likely made all them available but they didn’t.

Keep the mechanics, change the names/animations where is make sense, make glyphs for those who like it.

I don’t see why. There’s no reason to act like our characters haven’t learned anything at all from their travels in the Shadowlands, and for future characters that avoid Shadowlands with Chromie Time, no reason to think they couldn’t learn some things from other maw walkers sharing that knowledge

I wish they would have turned off all SL systems because it’s really hard to tell where we are at with soulbinds, conduits and legendaries still being a part of the mix.

Look at it as this way… You learned new skills while you where in SL. Now you get to choose to use them… It would be more stupid to just forget things you learned.

I don’t mind keeping them, I would be sad to see convoke go.
I do think they should be recolored though. Convoke is fine, it looks druidy. But The Hunt or whatever the DH ability is called should be given a green felfire appearance.

Well, they were linked to the Shadowlands, so my immersion works either way: keeping them or not.

I provided this feedback on beta forums and there’s other threads too. Devs should at least do the abilities bases on the class fantasy and keep the SL effects as Glyphs.

This point is 100% valid.
Mind games looks great as a shadow spell.
The owl hunters have is so much better for their LoS ignore ability because it fits their class.
All covenant abilities that are now baseline should be changed period.

You ever stop and think the names are the way they are so that people know what the spell does? Theres already a lot of new/returning spells. People will have to re/learn them. Renaming these identical spells with a color shift would also warrant lazy response from you

Blessing of Seasons just looks so out of place. At least change the colors or something to gold.
No one wants to be reminded of SL in anyway so please change what you can lol.
