How is multiple channels better or worse than layering other than the fact you chose where you want to be?

I already stated,
Servers have layers in guild wars two called ‘‘overflow’’ when a server reaches capacity an option pops up that offers you to move to an overflow or stay on your current , i’ll use layer here to make things simple.
if you choose to stay the new person goes to the overflow layer and you stay on yours.
We dont know that they havent already, though i agree with your sentiment.

I’m not going to argue about layering being EVIL RETAIL CANCER.
I don’t know how to explain something obvious, i don’t know how to explain how being locked to a server layer until the population cap is reached and then given an option to move to an overflow server temporarily is or is not a bad thing but i don’t hate anything about this prospect.
Yeah this is literally the most anthetical thing that can exist in Vanilla WoW.

Need to involve reddit and twitter, it needs to be a very big PR stink. to the point that it winds up on a reputable ( hard to find nowadays) gaming news network.
I know, there are plenty of terms for it. I guess well just add it to the list of terms used.
Have my like, layering in its current state needs to be adjusted. If you plan on using it, at least make sure people cannot exploit it.

nothing is un-exploitable, somebody sometime somewhere will exploit it in some way.

And with modern players some streamer will see it or youtuber will make a video and a streamer will react to it.

Yes something layering will not be perfect, but that is no excuse for not improving it over the current status. It is too easy to switch layers right now.
9:30. my liver died when the beta launched and the streamer privilege and (kill all streamers! (in game of course) movement started

I did state that they should use the GW2 method, as there is no way to force yourself into an overflow layer, you only have the option to move or stay. if and when the server reaches capacity.
