They have said they are an expansion or 2 ahead in planning what comes after the current one .

They’ve already proven they can hold an event online at any time. They’re probably still planning for Patch 9.2 and a 9.3. I’ll be they cover future patches at blizzcon and hold an online event sometime early next year
I agree but like I said earlier , they could do it the same way as Legion and do it at another event like Gamescon . They could also wait until December for Blizzcon . There is no rule saying it has to be in November .
Wrath and Cata were both announced at August Blizzcons.
It depends if they have an in person Blizzcon or not. If they have enough confidence and resources to host a Live event this year then they may want to have some big blow out information to announce to make it worth everyones ticket price.
If they opt for a virtual Blizzcon again, they may put off the event until sometime next year, and thus the new expansion announcement as well. I think if 9.1 gets delayed this is the most likely outcome.

wod from an alliance’s pov was all bad… the expansion’s full on artwork of all the orc warlords… like what does this have to do with us… oh we get the original shadowmoon but karabor and shattrath wont function as capital hubs like they were supposed to… and the draenei look identical to the ones we already have but the horde get to see the original maghar orc tribes in all their diverse un-green glory… wouldnt say it was equally satisfying for us

Option 1: We see 9.2 preview in Nov (for Jan release) and 10.0 preview for Aug/Sept release (to get back on normal timeline 9.3 is cut).
Option 2: We see 9.2 and some 9.3 in Nov. 10.0 previewed in Feb for Nov or Jan release. (Same as SL).
I mean, Khadgar was there for both sides (and most Hordies don’t appreciate escorting Alliance though the expansion), and it was equally satisfying to see the big lore characters from pre-WoW in their pre-Blood of Mannoroth forms, regardless of faction. The Shadowmoon area has a few, but the main one that I appreciate is Exarch Akama and the introduction of his sickles… which I believe we are getting?

And Horde got the Frostfire Ridge which in BC was Bladespire and we didn’t get Bladespire Citadel as our main hub . Also neither side got the put your garrison where ever you want , we instead got set spots for garrisons then we got out posts in set spots.
Hey the alliance got the better deal and more content with Legion . Other then Gul’dan that was an alliance xpac .
