Well what do yall think?

You need to raid more!

AFF received the best out of them all.
Returning to SoC and getting rid of Taint is the BEST situation for the spec.
We shall see how it goes.
As for demo, who knows. I still think its extremely limited due to how tyrant works.

No. I do not.

Why is it Demo is getting reworked yet again? Its finally fun to play as is and now, but yet again, they are taking a wrecking ball to it.

It’s going to be BM hunter now with 3 buttons almost.

Hands down this hits nail on the head.

They always think there is some magical untapped well that they can hit to bring in a mass of new players, meanwhile the current ones quit due to terrible design choices.

It’s all Gloom and Doom and Agony and Despair for me!

To be honest I don’t know what to think about Destruction changes at the moment.

In general I think the current state of Destruction is decent. I like the fact that outside of the Chaos Bolt there are options for Destro to do damage ( not burst tho ) .

I still find it weird that Wither and Blackened Soul is on of the highest damage sources for Destro.

What I already don’t like are these thing :

  1. Grimoire of Sacrifice is still useless ( especially for Destro ) this is very unfair trade off for pet

  2. Shadowfury is choose one option between it and Howl of Terror and its still a cast time

  3. Drain Life is still the most useless healing spell in this game ( even after talent buff )

  4. Soul Link damage redirection nerfed from 10% to 5%

  5. Burning Rush is still the most useless movement buff spell in this game

  6. Banish is still in the talent tree ( 10000% waste of talent point )

  7. No mention of Conflagrate root in PvP ( incredibly important thing to bring back )

When it comes to design I know I am bearing a dead horse in here but Burning Embers are way more cooler looking for Destro than Soul Shards.

Infernal Beneficiary – Dark Pact also shields your primary demon at 50% effectiveness

I believe this is why SL was nerfed.

Yes it shields pet by overall damage reduction from player is 10% atm and this says its gonna be 5%

Guys are screaming “We’re going to crash!” as the plane adjusts its altitude from 40,000 ft to 30,000 ft. The classes are going to be fine. The era of button bloat is dying and I couldn’t be happier! MMOs live and die by attracting casual players, they gotta fight the minmaxing to some degree.

You are supposed to be hardcore, man!

They made black harvest a capstone with zero changes to it. GL to you all.

Hey at least affliction looks to be doing alright.

Generally speaking it is the right direction, especially for aff.

However, the fundamental issue remains anchored in the turret playstyle across all 3 specs.

Depending on fights some might shine and be truly enjoyable, but the trend often leans exponentially towards faster paced fights by design.

Warlock remains the most trivial while moving class, requiring preplanned positioning and portal /gateplacement, yet these are not enough to cover dynamic paces in multiphased fights.

The issue always comes down to hard casting as the effective maintenance of optimal throughput with instants being far too weak even if present to accomodate the playstyle, leading to sever punishment and dropoff during repositioning.

Even if the ramp up is addressed, which midnight does well, the baseline problems are still present.

Leading to a “tank it or drop throughput” ideology which only functions well until near ceiling but then delegates to drop throughput as a default cause tanking the damage at those difficulty levels leads to death.

Instead they should choose and design our specs around motion. One could retain the turret playstyle but have higher throughput as a result; another could be the intermediate between turret and mobility; and the third should be highly mobile by default with few hardcasts and many “while moving” or instants.

Personally i vote for aff as that mobile playstyle as it historically leaned towards it and provides players options based on fight dynamic instead of just mechanics.

“Button bloat”… I guess some gamers could see options and flexibility in that light.

I think reading Blizz’s excuses for the changes they’re making… they amount to “Who are you going to believe, us or your own eyes?”

I feel like Kil’jaeden’s Cunning would solve the turret playstyle issue. It’s funny because the problem of Warlock being an immobile hard-caster was already solved over a decade ago with the release of MoP. Xelnath did an amazing job back then.

Cautiously optimistic.

No more stupid short duration buffs or debuffs like Eradication or Roaring Blaze. Put more power back in the actual spells than the buffs. That is the best thing to me to not have to do some contrived set up before lobbing my bolt at player. Already annoying enough to spend the whole game kiting and surviving.

Malefic Rapture gone. Like that overall makes the class change positive for me.

Demo is not something I typically seek out to play unless the numbers are just really good. I have no real stock in it. But to cull cooldown sequencing on an entire spec that’s defined by it does leave me concerned about what the identity is supposed to be afterwards.

I see them saying “tell us what you think” or “we want your feedback”… where do they actually see / read that?
