They brought so many people servers crashed. Then when they left, all the people left with them. With the current system Tom Ellis is talking about - read the problem. They will leave a permanently imbalanced, unplayable server for the opposite faction.
And yet servers at the end of classic vanilla were mostly very balanced heading into TBC… about 2 dozen servers very healthy very balanced.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think every single person who watches him will pile into one server, however, it is disingenuous to say that his base isn’t going to pack into one server JUST to be on that server with him.
They have done it in all iterations he’s played. They even made a parody video about it that he watched and agreed that’s how it goes.

I played on Skyfury which he was on… same faction. WOTLK Fresh.
It was completely fine… zero issues… Server was moderately balanced.
Problem was WOTLK sucked and p1 was boring… so everyone just quit instead.
