You say you’ve been a “valued” customer since 2005, right? This is how it has always been, we pay on top of paying and pay monthly.
Oh so do I, now … ewwwwwwwwwwww. I’ve never used it and I never will after seeing that monstrosity!

Honestly, none of you read that last sentence correctly.
One of you misquoted it and the rest keep misquoting the misquote.
Also, I just discovered half of the issues are due to the update breaking my UI.
OH and the Pet battle quests just now reset, so those are daily? Or cycled between diff NPCs?
First, love the mog.
Second, you’ve looked under the Currency tab, yes? If it’s still not showing then put in a ticket.
Weeklies should be another quest color and not blue like dailies. Change my mind
no idea, but i do not think they are daily, i did one of them and the quest was still there. But i dont think they reward the new currency, they seem to be just there as regular pet trainers
i mean you didn’t even buy TWW, so…
Clearly we’re not getting the whole story.
what did you say?
C’mon, what was it?
Apparently the Pet Quests are dailies. So yes - I fully support your statement here. It confused TF out of me to see the same ! only different lockouts, also it’s not showing up on my calendar… weekly quest lockouts should be on the calendar.
Blizz sent me an email calling me a “valued customer”.
which adds to the confusion. They say “check out the new dailies and earn coins” blah blah blah.
Nope.
you’ve been playing for 19 years and you’re surprised?
this seems more like its on you for not thinking ahead after 19 years of WoW.
do you have a picture of the email stating that?
ps. I have to be that guy, Im a stress test 2004 baby :O)
a pl;ayer from 2005 would have bought the xpac
Idk, seems fair. They’re still subscribing and nothing about Codex should require TWW.
My verdict is valid complaint.
I wouldn’t call someone too cheap to buy the new expansion a valued customer
I mean, you can participate, you just can’t do ALL of the things that provide bronze coins since you don’t have TWW, and weekly activities from TWW are also a weekly source of coins. The pet battles are rotating and only seem to add to your “participate in the event” bar; there are no bronze coin rewards for them anyway.
Almost everything is a weekly with the exception of the history quiz from Llore.
There ARE dailies, just not until you’ve earned your first 100 bronze coins.
Good thing this event runs until the first week of January.
Friendly reminder to download the addon ChoreTracker for the wallet within it’s really helpful for things like this.
The Chromie Codex being locked to people without TWW was not intended and is a bug they are working on, according to a blue post on the EU forums:
https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/chromie%E2%80%99s-codex-scenario-unavailable/544881
So that will in theory get fixed soonTM. So the only parts of the anniversary the OP is locked out of is the weekly source of coins from each of the TWW weekly outdoor activities, which makes sense since the OP doesn’t have TWW to do those weeklies anyway.
OP was under the impression there would be dailies and technically there are or will be, but not until they have earned 100 coins first.
That’s good to hear.
Another side note is that the bronze coins are not in your bag as an item because they are a currency, and they don’t show in the currency tab where we all would likely expect them to be listed - they are NOT in the TWW section.
Check the Miscellaneous section for them instead. They are listed first for me, followed by Darkmoon Prize Tickets, Epicurean’s Awards, and Trader’s Tenders.
The pet battles might be daily, and the 12 hour buff is a daily quest, however it only rewards the buff on subsequent completions and can only be picked up while unbuffed.
They aren’t. We all thought they were going to be daily, but they aren’t, they are weekly quests. The only daily quest for the Anniversery is the quest that reups the 10% Rep/EXP for twelve hours. The rest of the quests won’t reset until next Tuesday.
