First of all your wrong. When the layers go down, the realm capacity goes down, therefor the queues go up. Layer cap is, say 2500, 4 layers is 10000 people. drop 2 layers, you now have 2 layers of 2500, not 2 layers of 5000.
2ndly, again, cant you have a grown up conversation? Stop with the name calling, we arnt in 2nd grade, or at least im not.

Huh?
Assume theyâll only allow 50 people on a layer and 300 people are trying to log in.
If they have 5 layers, there will be a queue of 50.
If there is one layer, there will be a queue of 250.
By removing layers, the queue time just got larger by a factor of 5.
Are we 2 now? âYou promised me a toy!â How dare weâŚ
Layers do not impact the realm capacity in any way this has been proven over and over. You are literally lying.
I know right?! I feel like there are always more then enough people in every questing area I go to.
Layers dont, there is still a âserverâ capacity of 10,000. But of those 10,000, there is only room for 5000 to play because of the artificial realm caps that the Devâs put in to keep the experience semi authentic to Vanilla. You will never see a realm with 10,000 people running around.
They probably just waiting for phase 2 and then they will say they have to keep layering in. Then lot of people will rage quit, at which point the population will dwindle and they will remove layering and say oh we removed it now.
Just kidding, I hopeâŚ
I can actually see this happening. Its not a good outcome, but there really isnt a good outcome for this situation. You either get the âLayering needs to goâ people quitting because it isnt removed, or you get the âIm not sitting in 5 hr queuesâ people quitting because of the wait.
Its a crap situation all around.
Herod still has a 3-4hour queue at 5pm.
Itâs like when angry forum posters say âLOOK AT THE STATSâ and they themselves donât actually have the statistical information that they are claiming exists to support their argument. In this case a guy links evidence of his claim, but it actually just doesnât help his case whatsoever.

Because there is massive layer exploits which will cause massive long term economic leverage which hurts the game.
They already stated they are going to implement things to stop layer exploiting. And in terms of it hurting the economy, Blizzard said themselves they looked into all of those pictures of playerâs banks and bags and said that they were fake pictures and so far no one has seriously abused layering to the point where it hurts the economy. Most people are abusing it to level faster, which I hope they change.
Of which they patched, adding longer timers between layers and such. Also, the Devâs stated that the layering exploits have not been nearly as sever as what some people are saying happened.
Edited because i said laying exploits, which is a whole different website lol
Why would you demand a significant technical change without knowing anything about their infrastructure or software? Really dude? Just enjoy the game.

You do realize, If Blizzard would start to remove the layers, especially on higher pop and full server. The massive amount of people would be whining and crying of not only higher queue times, also many would be forced off those servers as well. Blizzard stated that layering will be reduce when Phase 2 in implemented. So cool your jets on you own demands. If you canât handle waiting then you have more problems than removing layering is going to accomplish for you.

Still is being exploited right now. Twitch streamers are doing this relentlessly for personal gain. One streamer for example is hopping layers for 3 hour spawn rare mob farming just recently and didnât care, kept on doing it. So rather than wait 3 hours for the world spawn, he waits about 3 seconds via layer exploit and kills the mob over and over.
Remove layering now? Please no. Servers are already 3,500% of what it was during the times of vanilla. If you remove layering this early, it will be like New York City in the middle of rush hour all over Azeroth. I can guarantee they have an agenda to remove layering during phase 2 that will be pushed back.
They also made that video with the mentality that 9 total servers were going to be enough to support the player base.

If people are not willing to move or take advantage of the free transfers, then tough love must be applied. In order for phase 2 to come about we need single layering. So take advantage of the transfers. Force the single layer on these high pop realms and people will be forced to gravitate if they want to do any questing.
Layering is not an exploit! Stop with all this nonsense and whining. Layering is working as it was intended and has been made it possible for more people to play Classic not less. Yes, and Blizzard put in a delay and every time a player switches layers that delay gets longer and longer also working as intended. People like yourself should pay more attention to what you are doing and worry less about what other people are doing. If you are an adult, you are a bit old to feel a sense of entitlement and the necessity to tattletale on other players.
Another player is ruining my experience of playing Classic. It is unfair that they get more than I do. It is unfair that people are at higher levels than I. This list is endless of the level of whining taking place by these #nochange players that blaming everything on retail for their endless amounts problems. Which shoots all kinds of holes through the notion that the player base back in Vanilla was far less toxic. I been reading enough toxic behavior from the hardcore Vanilla people that have taken to the forums to voice their displeasures. Many of them act worse than the many I have engaged in retail for years now. Have a Nice Day!
It is an exploit if used in a manor not intended. Also, post on your classic avatar or dont be taken seriously.
