Well blizzard

Those poor Barrens Zhevras :joy::joy::joy:

Okay, most people. Either way, point still stands.

6 minutes or thereabout.
And promise we will do this a few weeks in to a single world per realm.

There is your promise.
Boom.

layering is the least of classicā€™s problems unfortunately.

Well, Iā€™ll be damnedā€¦

Still, ā€˜a few weeksā€™ indicates a non-specific range. Iā€™m gonna go ahead and trust that Blizzard is monitoring the situation and will reduce layering at a pace and on a timetable that makes sense.

You? You act like a four-year-old whose mother has told him he can have a cookie ā€˜in a little whileā€™.

Noā€¦ the biggest problem I see with Classic is everybody who wants to put changes in the game or QoL features from retail. The sooner these retail plebs quit playing classic and leave the game the sooner we can actually start enjoying it free from the concern that Blizzard will listen to their whining and give them what they want

And for those of you players who think oh well we know better what this game needs than youā€¦ Think about this for a secondā€¦ The majority of the changes to retail were instituted by people like you who were pissing and moaning and whining about wanting them. Transmog came about from the RP community complaining about how many items they had to hoard and manage. Flying was put into the game in Burning Crusade because so many people that played vanilla requested it. Need I go on?

Itā€™s exactly those things we are trying to avoid by saying no changes. Anyone who doesnā€™t believe we will end up going down that same road is delusional and in denial

18 days is not ā€œa few weeksā€.

AH, your one of THOSE peopleā€¦

When did they promise anything? Lolā€¦

ITT: OP equates 16-18 days to ā€œseveral weeksā€ and ignores incrementalist removal of layering.

Oh, what a surprise, a person who squints at ā€œpromisesā€ doesnā€™t bother to actually understand what it is being promised, and refuses to acknowledge actual progress in fulfilling the promise.

Holymirax, you (and people like you) are why we canā€™t have nice things.

E: and in case you canā€™t make the connection, people like you get the devs to focus on non-issues while they could be working on something productive.

Itā€™s very playable, and the exploiting needs to stop. This was supposed to be in place to handle a couple of weeks when everyone was squished into lower levels. Itā€™s spread out enough now.

Good, get out. The people defending layering are the ones taking advantage of something that should not be in the game.

And Blizz made that promise because they wildly underestimated Classicā€™s popularity.

I cannot stress HOW wildly they underestimated itā€¦itā€™s just unreal and they ā€œwere not preparedā€.

Did they say ā€œwe promise that we will totally remove laying completely in 2.5 weeksā€? I donā€™t think it was quite that. Calling them lying already is incredibly extreme. ā€œFewā€ is pretty vague. The only thing Iā€™ve heard definitively is ā€œby phase 2ā€. Whenever that is.

I defend layering because i enjoy playing the game, not sitting, looking at 16 hr queue times. I have never, nor will i ever, abuse any game mechanic. Stop making assumptions about peopleā€™s motivations, it makes you look silly.

You are entitled to your opinion, as is everyone. We can disagree civilly the ā€œGETOUT!!!ā€ ā€œRETAIL BABIES!ā€ nonsense.

Layers have zero to do with queue times. Keep lying.

Havenā€™t you ever heard of project management? They have to follow the baseline.

yet here you are giving the company your money. If I hated them as much as you, I wouldnā€™t give them a cent.

They said it would be removed by phase 2ā€¦ for all we know phase 2 could be 4-6 months away.
