Am I wrong in thinking that with the current state of the game, health pools being what they are, and damage of abilities being what they are, should our autos/wound poison/shadow blades not be scaled up to deal a bit more damage??
E.g I just got out of a match where my shadow blades at one point where dealing between 800-2000 damage per auto
I know that we auto fast but 800 damage in a game where people have 6m+ hp might as well be 0 no?
Even wound poison (I know it’s used for MS debuff) hits for 2,785 damage according to my tooltip
Just feels kinda pitiful to see such low damage numbers
An uhdk can sneeze on me and put frost dot on ticking for 30k+ every couple second, but my 2min shadow blade cd gets to make my auto attacks hit for 5800 instead of 5000

The devs determined that rogues must be an intricate, interwoven mess of (choose your poison):
- small, meaningless dots that do other things (like restore energy for a flawed energy-regen system, etc)
- cooldowns that don’t align
- or crackshot windows that feel terrible and are bugged.
Then top it off with the most un-intuitive Hero Trees, and bugged / weird interactions that any class has to deal with…and you’ve got what’s left. The Rogue class.
If you want to press a few buttons and just cough out damage…Ret, DK, Warrior, or Monk is right there. Somehow they get attention…and all the Rogue forums get is trolls fighting about what’s broken and how Blizz should fix it.

The problem is that Rogues passive damage is too low along with active damage.
Something has to give at some point in the future.
Most likely they do aura buffs to all three specs this expansion.
