I ran into a lvl 1 toon today that didnt feel like the norm “ima troll you, with a alt” type. We talked about lore in whisper then he started threatening me that he was streamer. Saying he is mass reporting me. I ignored him blah blah. But he kept making alts and whispering me. He kept trying to get me to give personal info to me, like discords, facebooks, Twitter, even asked me for my YouTube account among of other socials he asked for. I gave nothing obviously, but it was super weird. I don’t know if this was just some SUPER unhinged dude or some sort of new scam peeps are trying. Just thought i would share it. Becarful out there folks
Oh and adding on. He wanted my social info to “show proof” of getting people banned.

If this happens, just add them to the ignore list, which now blocks the whole account.

It wasn’t for me for some reason? I 100% blocked him, but he kept whispering me on different alts. Unless it was his friends I guess. But it ended after awhile. It was just super strange you know? Lol

Weird people on Moonguard? What a surprise…
There are currently three horde players who show up daily, all day, to kill AH and transmog NPCs in Stormwind. A rogue, a death knight and a druid. Any attempt I make to stop them, more come out to help and the other alliance just stand there doing nothing, but still whine in general. This happens every single day. I got on at 7 AM EST and the rogue was doing this. I just got back on at 5 PM and he’s still doing it.

Yeah. Moon Guard is an RP realm. Most players are RP players, meaning that they aren’t particularly good at the game since they spend their time in RP. I myself am a part of that. I know full well that if I flag I’m going to get 1-shot by these Horde PvPers, and they know it, too. That’s why they do this. There is nothing that I can contribute to helping defeat them.
I mean, I can try and pitch in with my level 5 bank alt at the AH but I don’t think I’m going to be able to help much.
The perpetual AH harassers use crossrealm phasing, inaccessible terrain, follower dungeon queueing and broken legacy buffs, trinkets, potions, enchants, etc. to avoid having to actually die. Even when people do rally to kill them, they come back in a half hour after the defenders pat themselves on the back and RP walk off again.
They’re trying to provoke a response to make people Keystone Kops around after them all the live-long day, and people showing up to defend just prolongs that.
It’s kind of funny watching them attack a flagged person in a RP outfit who’s just hanging out but it turns out that they’ve got a full Glad set under the transmog and can force them into a cheap retreat, though.

I don’t usually fight back. Talked with a few of them where I shouldn’t be on the kill roster but it is what it is.

I don’t think anyone would expect a sub-90 to do anything.
It’s not that they’re hard to kill. Other than the DK, they really aren’t with at least one assist. It’s the fact they keep teleporting with exploits and running off to heal LOS like cowards. If you dispel the druid’s HoTs, he falls apart. Every time the situation gets slightly serious for one of them, when someone who can do something shows up, they take off. The Druid is using stair cases and some other method to break targeting then appear in a different location. They did this the other day when that dance party was happening, so for a few hours, there was no functional AH in Stormwind.
Normally I don’t pay much mind to this sort of behavior, it takes all kinds and some people are legendarily unemployed. But this has been going on for weeks. At some point blizzard should step in. I’ve seen people still leveling wearing greens and blues (no heirlooms, new player) asking where another AH is. So it’s causing new players to become confused. Slippinjimmy has been doing this since *launch*. I don’t know if they’re streaming and this is getting them views or what. I can’t imagine the value otherwise in doing this for literally 10 hours a day every day for weeks on end. I went to Orgimmar a few times to see what was up and there was almost nobody there, so I can only imagine they’re doing it out of lack of anything better to do. Or maybe they giggle to each other in discord calls.
