What is this video in the OP supposed to prove? There’s a chance nova will break. It’s not an exact number. There’s a rather large range. Sometimes it breaks on a certain amount of damage. Sometimes it breaks on wildly different damage.
By the way, I played a mage in original TBC. Plenty of times you could 100-0 something without nova breaking. Other times it would break very quickly. Just like in TBC Classic. You merely ignore evidence contrary to your hand-picked example.
It’s the same for druids’ roots and warlocks fear, damage done MAY interrupt this effect.
May isn’t the same thing as a rogue’s blind, which is any damage done will break this effect. Same with Mage’s Sheep, Hunters Freeze trap, and Priest shackle. May is a chance to happen.

I think you misunderstand what I said. Sheep, freeze trap and shackle WILL break on damage. Maybe if I put
as it’s own there wouldn’t have been some confusion.

Cool man, were not here to go off memory from over 15 years ago. Video evidence is the info we have that’s believable and video evidence is saying the nova threshold is wrong.
It’s been broken all of TBC, and if it’s broken in wrath with the introduction of deep freeze as a mechanic then it’s going to completely busted.
After watching noone videos, the most I’ve ever seen nova last was 2 ice lances and COC, nowhere did I ever see him throw 3-4 ice lances into it

Was agreeing with you, sorry came across wrong, was just emphasizing hwo easy it was to break freeze trap, like super fragile even specced survival
I remember playing wrath mage and if nova would behave like its now then deepfreeze would be only used to cc on finger procc as nova essentially would almost work like one for most classes…
