Feral damage doesnt scale with weapons so they are essentially stat sticks. Only reason to swap would be for the stat change which is relatively minor.
I was more referring to raiding, and I donât think Warrior would swap stance much there if I remember right, outside of Charge â Defensive.
Sure yeah. Except for fear mechanics

Ah youâre right. Itâs been years, I stand corrected.
It is legit for all druid specs. Flag carrying weapon swapping is a must.
Time worn mace + skull of impending doom = pew pew.
For Dps warriors would be in berserker stance for the entire fight. However if they were under a certain amount of rage when a boss dodged an attack while above 20% health it was a dps increase to swap to battle overpower and swap back.(not sure how much of a dps increase this is will need to be tested once classic drops)
For tanking you swapped to berserker stance to rage as a fear dodge, and battle stance for mocking blow if you couldnât taunt, or if you didnt have a dps warrior to keep up the thunderclap debuff in the group/raid. Pretty sure that was the extent of stance dancing in pve.
I literally cant wait to learn all these little tricks so i can push my Tankin up to God Mode
i use a Gamepad and Gaming Mouse, so iâm hoping i will be stance dancing so smoothly people will hardly notice
Gotta switch from one MCP to another every 90s =P
It depends if the buff is lost on swapping or not.
The buff is lost if you unequip it, but it has 3 charges, each lasts 30 seconds, and it isnât unique.

I understand perfectly well how weapons work for druids. And weapon swapping makes sense in scenarios where you actually utilize the hybrid nature of druids; mostly in PvP.
A +healing weapon makes sense to throw on before you toss out some heals. Something with a lot of stam and armor makes sense to throw on while carrying the flag, etcâŚ
As a 2-hand enhance Shaman, the only time I remember swapping was getting jumped by a rogue. 1-hand + shield was necessary for the armor boost to survive the stunlock.
