Until recently I’ve been able to “hide” my weapons as an evoker if I was wearing shoulders. Has this been removed or is it a bug?
It’s rather annoying to watch my weapon clip through my wings all the time, so a feature to hide my weapon is appreciated.
This latest patch seems to have broken a few things. Now your weapon will always re apear when you change instances or relog. But you can make it dissapear again if you turn into visage then back into dragon form (still need to have either a shoulder or belt mog visible though).
I kinda like it. I use a greatsword that doesn’t clip and I think it’s pretty cool. I understand that not everyone would care for it, but I do.
I hope they make a glyph that always shows it. After all, it popping in and out of existence bothers me more than some minor clipping.
I hope they add a glyph that always shows demon hunter wings for the same reason.
Invisible wings < occasional clipping.

It’s the alliance version of the darkshore greatsword. It’s big, slightly curved and ornate. I’m collecting that xmog set. It’s very nice.
Sometimes you need to just shift back and forth and it’ll go away again.
Also, you can hide it without shoulders if you transmog each shoulder separately, but do both as hidden.

Mybad, I changed servers and my name as well. This is my main now.
And of course it shows my PvE mog instead of my pvp set.
Im having the same issue OP. Not showing a weapon and Dracthyr being the source of the damage was the only saving grace I had from not being able to mog. Now I just dont want to play it.
you need to cover your lower portions, but at least the rest of you matches

Incredible response from you guys. Thanks for the quick information! Indeed, swapping to visage and then swapping back to dracthyr form “hid” my weapon.
… I’d still like to see a “hide weapon” as a default option for dracthyr (or any caster) in the future
It’s supposed to be default. Weapons aren’t supposed to appear at all. But blizzard hasn’t fixed it yet, and it seems to be getting worse.
Yeah my Evoker’s staff is going right through her wing and it looks just dreadful. Hope this wasn’t an intended change and they get rid of it soon.
