No, I think you don’t understand what’s being done.
From what’s being changed in alpha, none of the mentioned addons will be affected.
What they have done is pretty much hide variable data (using the new “secret values”) from some functions that would request it, limiting their usage to specific functions.
Let’s say I request your HP from the game into a “PlayerHP” variable.
I can print that value, since the print function can access the data, but I can’t compare it to anything else, at least not in combat.
Gathering alt info, which is pretty much static data, not related to combat state, is safe, for now.
As for having to consult the map for bountiful delves, it shouldn’t be that hard to make a standalone addon for that, or for that feature to be included in a currently existing Delve addon.
If they truly want to kill all addons, then I might as well quit, because the game is not nearly half as fun without some of them.
