It always cracks me up when people feel the need to say “could x save WoW”. LOL WoW is still going extremely strong and still the #1 mmo. What exactly needs to be saved? SL’s likely will end after patch 9.3 and we haven’t even hit 9.1 yet. Long ways to go.

It’s very close to losing number one mmo to ff14. WoW is one bad patch or another bfa/SL xpack away from turning into maintenance mode and server merges.
I mean, to be honest, that sounds awesome. I get the sense you’re being sarcastic but the entire point of an “Underworld” type expansion is to rehash old villains in a way that feels like less of an asspull.

its already way past the normal patch cycle. the .1 patch coming in august will cripple shadowlands

You’re out of your mind if you don’t think they’re going to rely on fan service cameos like Arthas and Varian to carry this expansion.
If that’s their plan, they’re in for a very unhappy surprise.

If I remember the clip correctly he said that based on his friends on the inside they’re worried that when it releases it might be too late for some people. That doesn’t say July or August.

They should have done the movie in that format, not … whatever it was they made. I get that they didn’t want to make an animated show but it would have been much better.
15$ a month for TBC just think about it . It would be different if it was 5$ for the classic version of the game . Your paying 15$ a month for TBC something that has plenty of unofficial servers running for free for years and blizzard will only cash in on the initial hype plenty of people will quit TBC when they see its as grindy as classic.
I hope not, I know Shadowlands have potential, like seeing old characters, storylines, and such.
