See this confirms my theory that you are projecting your own white guilt. You can’t cope with the truth about America and even go as far as to make extreme statements like “only a tiny % of whites owned slaves” even though most black people during the time it was legal were in fact enslaved, used sexually, hunted, lynched, and worse. The ones who weren’t slaves were still hunted by the triple K and segregated from society. You have to re-write history to cope with your white guilt that you refuse to face.

To be completely honest the Empire of Japan was colonialist and extremely cruel. the Ottoman empire was an expansionist empire and to this day the Turks deny the Armenian genocide.
But it is undeniable that the European empires were cruel to extremes, the Belgian rule over the Congo was brutal!

Those cruelty don’t count because those aren’t the people here now. The government that committed those white crimes still exist to this day. Those other powers you name, Empire of Japan and Ottoman Empire, are in no way related to the Arabic and Japanese of today.

I agree with you in the dislike of racism but I want you to think bout this for a second. If someone is racist does that mean that they should lose their job? That is going to fix racism in America or around the world for that matter? The number of people that can be called racist, regardless of color, in the US, sits at around 45%. Now ask yourself rationally, does 45% of the population really need to lose their job and the firing of said person is going to change the racist persons opinion?
Keep up the fight, but firing writers will have have as much effect at diminishing racism as praying really, really hard.
That isn’t a right since i can probably take 5 seconds and find one where it has happened and a black person was killed and the person went to jail.
I think the greatest irony of all, is how incredibly effective this sort of double standard is, at making the very people that they are in theory railing against. I don’t think there’s a more effective way to radicalize someone, than by openly treating them as less than human, based solely on the color of their skin. So not only is it vile behavior, but it’s actually self-defeating, if their goal is less racism in the world.

That doesn’t disprove what I said at all…
My only gripe with this is I get lumped in with the (some) rich whites who do fun things with questionable business practices to be legal and wonky tax code to hook themselves up. Some stuff there…is just wrong. Imo.
Me I am just a cog in the wheel…please vent that elsewhere is my take on it. But…some random rants on social media don’t trigger me. Its social media. I don’t have a high opinion of it tbh.
Hell I do the ez form for my taxes…I don’t make enough to see the need to really work the long form for my US taxes lol. So not even playing tax games.
