Constantly attacking any race is not okay, but it’s very weird how excited a lot of white people do get when they have a chance to act like they care about racism when a comment comes out against people of their skin color. I’m white, and yeah the person in question’s comments suck. But I feel like there are a lot of people in the comments that are taking that and using it as fuel for something bad.
People are taking these comments and acting like oppression and racism aren’t a real thing for non-white people, almost making it into a joke. The whole “WELL IF I SAID THIS ABOUT A BLACK PERSON OR A WOMAN” bit is extremely tone deaf.

It is the same in Mexico. If you watch a Mexican soap, the darker skinned people are always portraying the less fortunate. My roommate pointed that out to me one day while I was watching TV with his sisters.
That said, no one should ever be describing someone by their skin color. Not sure what I’ve done wrong (white male) to need to be stopped, but I don’t appreciate the insinuation that I’m in the wrong based on my skin color. Horrible police need to be stopped. Selfish politicians need to be stopped. The person making the crappy local car commercials needs to be stopped. Not sure why all white men have been generalized by people who are tire of being generalized.

Also it doesn’t help Japan is actively rewriting history books to cover up past transgressions. Also didn’t help many of the top WWII “scientists” on Japan’s bio/chems weapons teams went back into normal civilian life after the war. Not even a slap on the wrist.
Hell the lead director of the whole thing taught at University level after the war. Imagine if you will…Josef Mengele was your or your kids Biology teacher in college. After all he did in WWII. This is what happened in post war Japan. These “scientists” found jobs just like this.
