Why should anyone think this? Blizzard didn’t want to give us Classic. We called for it. The players chose what we wanted and Blizzard responded. Blizzard should not be dictating to us how we play, it’s the other way around.

The probability of not getting HoJ in 200 runs is less than 0.03%. I understand how drops and RNG work. What I’m saying is farming HOJ is not like farming mcp because it has a clear end. And realistically this change doesn’t dramatically change how quickly someone can farm it. Because, on average, a person can farm it in a couple days of doing nothing but anger runs, and the instance cap doesn’t dramatically change that.
I used to agree with you but seeing how sweaty and destructive players are these days I think a good dictatorship is what we truly need.
Someone to hate is what ppl need sometimes. We already hate Blizzard in some way since were playing Classic instead of retail. Now they just need to keep making good decisions like this, or happy mistakes.
Also from day 1 Blizzard never delivered on what people really wanted anyway. No patch 1.1 no normal size server layering changes etc

I can’t say I agree. I don’t really want to hate anyone and I can’t say that I hate Blizzard. I don’t play retail and never have, so I certainly don’t hate retail. I just don’t care for it, it’s a different game. We called for Classic because that was the game we loved, with whatever flaws were there. I’m all for a solution to botting, given how egregious it’s become. But this isn’t the solution. It’s hurting me and only helping the botters expand their monopoly on gold by preventing actual players from accessing gold farms like DME.
We don’t need to make excuses for Blizzard, there are better ways to do this. I still enjoy the game very much and don’t want to see it ruined.

We can talk about how sad or happy we are about those particular changes elsewhere (I personally would have never wanted 1.1 but also don’t want layering). This thread is about the 30-per-day cap. Let’s focus.
Except that I don’t like boosters in any way shape or form. What YOU fail to understand is that just because you ASSUME things about someone, you don’t know anything about them.
Make whatever excuses you want, but you’re as bad as the others.
Spoken like a real toxic waste of space.
Take a break bud
I’m with you - sorry you have to go with this.
Says the guy running more than 30 instances daily…
Again, I’m not. You’re making assumptions. You have no real points to make, you’re just here to be a piss poor troll.
In case anyone is interested, please search my petition with the same name as this thread’s title! You can sign it!
No one is forcing you to unsubscribe.
If you think you’re being exploited, take it up with your local consumer protection organization. Be sure to let them know that you willingly signed a contract that told you that you don’t own anything, your character, your efforts, nothing. Further, said contract also told you in explicit terms that your gameplay experience was in no way guaranteed and was subject to change for any reason and no reason at all. Blizzard has full rights to change, alter, remove, add, and otherwise modify their game as they see fit.
YOU ARE NOT OPPRESSED
YOU ARE NOT SUFFERING
YOU ARE NOT BEING EXPLOITED
YOU ARE A CONSUMER, NOT A MINORITY GROUP IN NEED OF CIVIL RIGHTS
Also this. I’m more than fine with the change as a Feral Druid that regularly farms MCPs.
No one is forcing you to unsubscribe.
The lack of alternative options, besides ones that hurt Blizzard’s income, clearly forces us to do something to attempt to protect the game from this change.

I hadn’t considered doing that because I don’t know the technicalities, but maybe it’s worth looking into something like that. If you’d like to do more research to follow up on your suggestion, we could look into it together.
YOU ARE NOT OPPRESSED
YOU ARE NOT SUFFERING
YOU ARE NOT BEING EXPLOITED
We’ll have to agree to disagree here.
YOU ARE A CONSUMER, NOT A MINORITY GROUP IN NEED OF CIVIL RIGHTS
Correct. As I said, I represent the majority, not a minority. Remember, we’re talking about the majority of consumers here.
Also this. I’m more than fine with the change as a Feral Druid that regularly farms MCPs .
Also what? Also don’t say “we”? My views represent the most numerous segment of the community. We were a plurality yesterday. Go ahead and recount the individual responses in the main thread, I have no doubt that you’ll now find us in the majority.
That’s a choice on your part. Don’t lie.
You aren’t going to get anywhere because you aren’t being exploited. But if you want to, contact your state attorney general office and find their consumer protection division and voice a complaint. I doubt they’d walk you through why you’re wrong to complain, but there’s a chance they might, and you can learn some relevant consumer law.
No. You’re a consumer. You’re not an oppressed suffering individual because a game company changed something they said they could change.
You do not.
This is false.
That’s a choice on your part. Don’t lie.
Lay out some alternatives to force Blizzard’s hand in repealing this change. I can’t think of many.

We certainly were certainly lied to. That’s exploitation in the colloquial sense, and when you consider that we pay them with the expectation that certain things will be followed, like the expectation that changes will be minimal or not heavily change the gameplay, that makes it clearly exploitation. The definition of exploitation as it is used in courts of law is totally irrelevant here, though I agree with you that this might fit some legalistic definition of exploitation somewhere. Again, if you look into it more, I’d be glad to follow up on it.
No. You’re a consumer. You’re not an oppressed suffering individual because a game company changed something they said they could change.
We are indeed oppressed. Why do you think otherwise?
You do not.
Again, go ahead and count. We are the majority now.
This is false.
Show some accurate statistics refuting the ones already posted showing that we were a plurality as of last night. And based on the number of complaints now in the forums, we have only grown relative to those of you who support this change.
You don’t have to force anyone’s hand, nor can you.
You should reread the contract you signed to play this game.
You’re not suffering from a loss of rights.
You have millions of people, on record, saying they want this repealed?
You don’t have millions of individuals signing onto this. Vocal minorities on a forum, which is itself an exceptionally small portion of the player base, does not a majority make.
You don’t have to force anyone’s hand, nor can you.
We’re not forcing anyone’s hand. We’re telling Blizzard that they enacted a situation in which are hands are forced. Reread the text.
You should reread the contract you signed to play this game.
Maybe you should reread it and just post here what you think is relevant. Nothing you said has convinced me to do so. Go ahead and report back to me.
You’re not suffering from a loss of rights.
We’re suffering from an injustice. That’s what oppression is.
You have millions of people, on record, saying they want this repealed?
We don’t need millions to be on record. We are already the majority.
You don’t have millions of individuals signing onto this. Vocal minorities on a forum, which is itself an exceptionally small portion of the player base, does not a majority make.
Exactly! This is what I have been trying to explain to you. You being a part of a vocal minority on this forum does not make you right. You cannot ignore what we have been telling you just because you have a handful of people posting as often as you do.
Lol, this change does absolutely nothing to stop bots… They can just switch to another realm on another bot and make gold there to sell… So it won’t cut into their bottom line in any way. At the very most, they need to buy more accounts, which can quickly be paid for after a couple hours botting.
No hands are forced. That’s your choice.
Naw, you’re just a bad troll, that much is evident now with how disingenuous you’ve acted.
No hands are forced. That’s your choice.
See above.

I have avoided calling you a troll an effort to continue the discussion. If you carefully follow our discussion I do think that you’ll find my points compelling and change your mind. You have to agree that this change is bad and unwanted. It negatively affects us and does nothing to stop botting.
