That is because they have not farmed enough gold yet. As there gold reserves get larger the price will reduce. Also probably is not enough sellers yet.
More sellers equals more competition selling gold which in turn means cheaper gold as sellers try to undercut each other.

I logged on and made a warrior and saw a night elf in the starting area botting. They were farming mobs with moonfire and just standing there looting. Logged out and went back to the bot filled wrath.

The token didnât reduce botting. It destroys the economy.
All it really does is reduce account issues. The economy still becomes super inflated.

I plan on only trying hardcore once before I unsub so maybe my opinion should be taken with a grain of salt. I do plan on hitting 60 and doing stuff, but once I die either on the journey or at 60 I am done until som2. With that said if they did tokens I would quit right then and there. I think they made the right play by leaving it out and letting the bots take all the heat. We should be mad at the gold buyers and sellers, not blizzard. Stop buying gold and call out those that do. Report them too and spread the word so we can all report them. As for myself I am enjoying the journey so far. As a paly its easy and peaceful and since I only have 30 minutes to an hour a day I need easy.
