This change is essentially lowering the crest cap. How many crests you can earn per week is now much lower relative to how many crests it takes to max your gear.
It would be similar to them lowering the existing crest cap down to 50ish per week.
It’s alpha so who knows, but it seems to be more aimed at a longer gearing tail.
