We need to reset the economy

The gold missions that provide 100g each?

How is this abuse anyway?

The world quests still require the person to do 3/4 quests on every single character to receive the rewards.

That’s not exploiting regarding multiboxers, they still need to pay for each account that’s being used.

This post just seems more like jealousy over others having more gold and more ways of getting gold than you.

I mean people buy tokens to buy the offered mounts and other items. Even if they just buy consumables they’re losing some due to AH cut.

How does that work? Prices would just adjust to the new standard.

What I said originally was they need to lower the influx, not sure what that adds but what do you mean knee cap the moguls? They made gold rain from the sky, it’s not the fault of people who picked it off the ground. Why punish them?

This is what caused the issue in the 1st place.

You misread my post. Tokens shift gold in the economy between people.

Would do nothing because everything is relative.

Thundra mamoth was expensive for its time
Grand yak was expensive for its time
The Ah Dino is also expensive for its time.

Resetting does nothing.

If the economy is reset, then levels, professions and gear should be reset, too.

So in the next WoW xpac, everyone starts at level 1 with zero gold, empty bags, empty banks, and no guild banks. Sounds like a winner! Hah hah.

Oops, just remembered…that is how classic WoW will be. lol

By “faction wide” do you mean cross faction (covering both factions)? If so you’ll be exited to hear Blizzard did this… Five years ago…

Across servers

And yes to all you noobs the secondary intent for this will be to kick start making crafting a lot more of a game feature than a side mission

I’m just saying if they did this it would be seen as a cash grab. They haven’t done it yet and you’re already pointing out greedy examples. Not that I disagree with you, I’m just saying they can’t make changes even if they are for the better since the community will see it as a cash grab - even if its possible that it isn’t.

Hopefully people will dump all their gold to a random tauren who looks a lot like myself and he (who may or not be me) has time to pop over to zandalar to buy a giant Brontosaurus.

I will sent my gold to Stompypotato before the economic cataclysm happens.

Dellexi

The last time Blizzard touched the AH, they set deposit prices for certain items to a ridiculous level (i.e. felcloth and dark iron just to name two). I’m not really all that excited about the prospect of them handling an entire overhaul of the money system in this game because I believe they would do something that would harm the player base in some way to benefit some metric. Seems to be how they make most of their decisions currently.

While I do agree that gold has gradually become worthless to the point of WoD garrisons being a gold sink and mounts getting more and more expensive for the same reason, and I agree that something should be done about it, I don’t think it’s a popular opinion. Gold farmers are too tied to their progress and people like feeling rich.

But that’s not the only problem. The price of standard grey junk items has shot up from a few copper and maybe a silver or two to a hundred gold in some cases.

Nope, ppl who know how to make gold will always make gold and ppl who don’t won’t.
It ain’t changing, everything is relative.

Classic wow will have economy issues because Chinese gold farmers are way better in 2019 than they were in 2004 and you are talking making the game exactly like 2004 with no changes?? Good luck
