Listen. I’ll be extremely short with this.
If we just have standard vanilla with no changes except a few changes to UI, graphics, etc, it will kill off a LOT of players that want to play it. We had necromancer and Demon Hunter planned. We added Panda’s instead of Naga who have been in the game since Warcraft II. Thinking Emoji

All those players it will “kill off” without changes are also the players I am most happy to avoid in Classic. Perhaps they can continue to enjoy retail?

No, we don’t. Classic is intended to be as authentic to vanilla as possible. For those people who want additions, there’s live.

Naga came in WC3: TFT. The same game that brought in Pandarens via Chen Stormstout.
So what are you smoking?
Too soon™
Naga were supposed to be a playable race, but the armor fit nixed it
Druids and Warlocks were the last classes put in the game, both almost didn’t make it.
Demon Hunters were originally going to be a Night Elf racial specialization for the Warrior class. Same with Blademaster for Orcs, etc.
Tirisfal Glades was the last zone Blizzard worked on for a starting zone.
Forsaken were treated like Undead mobs in the early Beta. They could also speak and understand Common. Muuuuhahaha.
