Your guild sux. “Personal Loot” isn’t the answer. Finding a new guild is.
Imagine thinking you are entitlted to loot. Maybe show up with preraid bis. raid and expect to get nothing. until you are actually dedicated to the guild you deserve zilch.

Maybe just find a new guild instead of asking for sweeping changes to the game.
I am against personal loot but don’t just pull things out of nowhere makes you look terrible yourself.

You are probably someone that would take advantage of a new player.
You are probably someone getting carried in these raids because you put in no outside effort into gearing. If you had greens still in bwl there would be no chance you should get gear from a guild and be removed from a pug.
Its your own fault for being in a garbage guild. Find a guild with EPGP or some other more fair loot system. Also if you are a trial in a new guild a lot of guilds don’t let you get certain items until they know you’re going to stay. Put your time in like your fellow guildmates have.

- If you’re not playing up to snuff, play up to snuff
- If 1 and 2 aren’t working, retail

tell me, how does one make personal loot work for Vanilla/Classic?
many classes don’t even always use whatever is their standard piece of gear as their best in slot (favoring Leather or Cloth frequently).
many times a lower item level piece will be better then a higher it em level piece. how d you propose this works with the loot trading rules as established with personal loot?
Healing Paladins and Shamans have very few pieces of gear available to them before the mid 50s. are they just supposed to not get loot?

5 Months later, and you’re still in Greens? With the same guild? I don’t buy it.
I don’t even Raid and managed to get myself Blues.
What do you expect when they only gear their friends?
You only played 2 weeks of a raid and expected gear? I raided close to 6 months before I started to get loot based off lack of gear from MC for a feral druid and lack of drops. If blizz changes loot to personal loot I will quit the game immediately. Yes gear is hard to come by in classic and that’s what makes it so good! I have 26 world dragon kills under my belt for the druid mace and I still don’t have it and I still wouldn’t change a thing, even if I never got it. If the loot system is changed people will stop caring about gear and quit the game. Loot scarcity is half of what makes classic so much better than retail.
5 Months, and you couldn’t go into any Dungeons, to get yourself some Blues/do some Dungeon Quests, to get yourself some Blues? My Off-Hand is Blue simply for completing the Scholomance Quest Chain. Zero Gear Competition there whether the Dungeon Group is MLing or not.
