We need Nightborne druids. Makes no sense not to have them

the nightborne in the emerald dream? would be weird, they’re not really the nature type.

I think there’s better options for horde druids that are more in touch with the nature side of azeroth. Nighborne always struck me as hardcore mana addicted night elves

Anyway, Alliance are next in line for a druid race I hope! and no not gnomes, but I think wildhammer dwarves would be an excellent choice

Well actually, I think Void Elf druids make more sense to be fair.

why can’t the mods control these troll post

Nightborne druids can be a thing.

Spider form.

I would rather they tie up botanist lore with blood elf/nightborne and maybe void elf stuff.
Botanists use arcane magic to forcefully control the nature stuff.

The cosmic stuff of druidism is also arcane magic. The starcallers/ star augurs use arcane and nature magic, with some shadow.

We see them use the same type of magic as balance druids. Balance tends to use arcane, nature, and celestial magic (arcane+ nature). The nightborne use that magic alot. Nightborne and blood elf druids would be more represented with that specialization then the shapeshifting ones. The glyphed astral star form is also like appropriate with the nightborne.

Blizzard is just picky. Shadowpriests need only 1 spec to justify them for void elves for example, but when balance makes perfect sense for blood elves and nightborne they do not grant them that class.

all 5 people who play nightborne will be ok if they can’t be druids

I’ve been wanting this to be a thing for so long. I feel like they could possibly work it into the lore. Since they are night elves at the root, who’s to say some night elf druids weren’t trapped in suramar when it got closed off? I know that they were cut off by sunlight/moonlight, but they could be sort of like “corrupted arcane” druids or something like that (that could be a reasoning as to why they have purple skins etc), and when the barrier got taken away, they decided to worship the nature gods again and started to regain their traditional Druid powers back. I saw someone above mention valewalker farodin and they could say that he was the one who lead them back onto the path. I also agree they would make some sick Druid forms, manasabers would be so cool as a cat form, they could have their own unique moonkin form that’s black and silvery white, and had glowy purple tendrils where the feathers are (similar to the heritage armor they have)

The guy I linked, taught them that lol.

Thousands of years ago, as the Highborne were just beginning to unravel the mysteries of the arcane, a small enclave of “keepers” who were not full druids met with the first of the elven magi. In the pale moonlight, they formed an order that would seek to bring the arcane into balance using nature itself as a vessel. Thus the arcan’dor were created

Everyone played through the Suramar quest chain and met Valewalker Farodin. They’re like 50% of the way there. Just bring in a Tauren or Troll druid trainer to teach them shapeshifting.

Explained this enough times.

If it was a lore reason it would’ve been done. The key to their salvation was the Arcan’dor.

The only known procedure to restore balance is to infuse the tree with the essence of life: pure, wild nature magic from the Emerald Dream itself.

Druids and Emerald Dream.

Infact the man who helped them through their salvation with this tree was Valewalker Farodin. Farodin was part of an ancient order of keepers, they predated the first druid Malfurion.

Now in the lore… if none of this happened they would mindless and withered. Yet it was these teachings from a druid that I stated intentionally saved them.

So yes, it kinda made complete and total sense lore wise.

Instead we got other type of druids which is fine. Yet I don’t enjoy reading that it does not fit the story. Maybe Nightborne druids would’ve been considered too girly? Maybe they didn’t want a nice looking druid race on the Horde? Since people complain how stacked the Horde is already. I’m just simply stating it would’ve made logical sense.

Tbh I pretty much gave up on Nightborne druids. I started leaning more towards Vulpera. As I feel Vulpera might appeal to both audiences better. Still I don’t think they are going to allow anymore druid races anytime soon. I would surprised if they made a change.

Why would you want to be a stereotypical elf druid? Lol

Also nightborne are literally kinda arcane people, not druidism people I don’t think there are any nightborne that are druids.

Tauren are better druids anyways.

Normally I love all Nightborne stuff but even while I’d love to be a nb druid…despite that one guy in the Nighthold raid who was heavily nature based I just dont see that as a whole for the race. They are Highborne. Magic is their birthright and druidism just ain’t it. Yes their animal forms would be amazing but I dont see them really respecting nature or its balance. I mean their botanists use magic and infuse it in their flora/plant life. It’s not natural so much like Void Elf Paladins, ima take a pass on this one. :nail_care:

It’s up to 5 now?

I am trying to decide if this is a troll of the VE “Makes no sense not to have them” thread or just equally idiotic.

So why aren’t they’re undead druids - that could be interesting. What’s closer to nature than decomposing organic matter?

Not going to lie, it still bugs me that the Alliance of all factions got the undead forms of druids that encompass the ‘death side’ before the undead that are literally on the Horde. And considering I neither like the Alliance nor Kul’tiran model, I wouldn’t play one even if I think those forms are interesting (aside from boomkin).

Did you not do the quests in Suramar and encounter Valewalker Farodin who is part of a group of proto-druids, who aren’t full druids, but are comparable to harvest witches (the lore that Blizzard used to explain Worgen Druids).

So Worgen had some “kinda druids” in their society and got help from night elves. So Nightborne had some “kinda druids” in their society and can’t get help from tauren or trolls?

How does that make sense?

Yeah, Drust is more undeadish isn’t it.

I really wanted to roll a nightborne balance druid, with the high botanist tel’arn using the mana botani form, that would have been awesome as a boomkin form, and he has 3 different versions of it! I honestly hope blizzard considers to add them ingame. And the nightborne also have the manasabers! It would be so cool, I was dissapointed they didn’t get access to it. Would defintely race change into that. The star theme is so prevalent with nightborne with the arcane section it was dissapointing not to have them as balance druids. Void elves got to be priests because of the shadow stuff, it was sad that nightborne couldn’t be balance druids with there night and star themes.

I made a thread about undead druids a whlie back based on the art they made for the drust, I was dissapointed that they gave it to the alliance, but I do have a kul tiran druid waiting to be leveled. I agree those should have been for forsaken, but I also believe bfa should have allowed us to raise kul tirans and give us druids/shamans in that expansion. They would be undead kul tiran thornspeakers.

With the new druid forms we see the bat form and raven form being shared by all. (gilneans and darkspear trolls currently use those as there base flight forms). I think the wicker forms should be shared if we ever get undead druids, the wicker forms are really cool.

I agree with you completely, if a player levelled up a KT druid and a NE druid - what is the problem with letting that same player have all those druid options open to either druid? Since they’ve unlocked it. I actually also levelled a ZTroll to get those forms too, just to play them and feel what they were like.
