Illidan is gone, the Burning Legion is gone. Demon Hunters are at a point where they need to almost reinvent themselves, expand their ranks, expand their reason for being (third spec), or just fade away.
There are 2 notiable leaders within the DH army, the blood elf and night elf that you pick from at the starting quest line. Altruis the Sufferer and Kayn Sunfury. One or both could lead it, have Kayn for Horde, and Altruis for Alliance.

Demon hunter should at least have been expanded to the Highmountain Tauren. We encounter them in Legion when doing the Highmountain zone. Granted they went evil and we had to stop them but it proves that other races, with guidance, could survive the process and be useful to the demon hunter ranks.
Its been the basis to the forsaken for many years.
OKay…we need bodies. Lets go rob some graves. But we totally aren’t the scourge. that corpse in the ground wanted this. They jsut didn’t tell us before they died. We raise them and they will tell us…promise.
And the horde allowed it.
So like DKs? Which they’ve done before?
Demons are still out there, Argus is still Legion controlled. Better to train them now when there is room to teach than after the invasion starts.
Twice even. Even Mr. stunlock makes em for the allied races. While he spent every raid stunlocked, old boy could pump out new dk’s lol.
They jsut skip the fidly bits of sacking a town, killing a friend, etc.

Ive seen Demon Hunters change their race appearance to Tauren and it looks glorious. As a Tauren only player, i greatly advocate for this!

DH will be an option once murlocs are a playable race. All hail Murkidan.

He will train more DH (new races)
He will teach us new things (3rd spec)

I think its so stupid classes like DH are limited. They are literally normal people TRAINED to be DH. Why can’t someone TRAIN any other race? They should just do the DK method and have some random DH NPC train new recruits to fight ALL threats. This opens it up to not only current races but new races so we dont get astupid backpeddle like they did with earthen DK.
