Remember when I said youāre being dramatic? Itās happening againā¦
Well itās not my fault. Thatās why I donāt want to be punished with your artificial queue.
Rolling Alliance on a PvP realm and expecting it to be Alliance favored. Almost all PvP realms are going to be Horde dominated, we knew this going into the game bruh.
So you expect horde to sit in qās because less people want to play alliance? Seems like a bad business model to make the majority of players sit in q to satisfy snowflakes like yourself. No one forced you to roll alliance so you have to deal with it, stop expecting everyone else to solve your problem
Hey, if Iām being dramatic, please prove me wrong.
Level an Alliance on Herod, since itās no big deal.
Iāll even buy you your first mount as a show of good faith.
Currently the Alliance are being punished by not even being able to get their full playerbase online even when its 10:1 H:A. Iām not asking to make it 1:1. Iād be happy with 5:1. Alliance will still be at a huge disadvantage. It just wont be as game breaking.
Also, I prefer being the underdog. But thereās a huge difference between underdog and unplayable.
faction queues would help balance realms. but you would have to pick a number to stop at. what number of players would you start the queue at?
And we would also have to base it off prime time, I would hate factions queues in the wee morning because on faction went to bed.
So you expect Alliance to be unable to play because the Horde quickly fill up the server capacity to the point where even a vastly outnumbered Alliance canāt even get people online?
Look, Iām sorry youāre afraid of having to wait a bit longer to log in. In a perfect world Blizzard would have intervened much sooner or simply handled the launch better.
Also, Snowflakes like myself? Laughable.
14 years on Smolderthorn Alliance, pal. A VASTLY Horde dominated server. I love it. I love being the underdog.
But this is not that. This is literally the saturation of the Horde on Herod making the game 100% miserable for an entire faction.
Iām not afraid of anything, Iām just unwilling to accept waiting in a false q so your gameplay goes better and the fact that you expect others to be unable to log in to make you feel better is a testament to the fact youāre a snowflake.
Definitely. Iām saying like say, 20% from server capacity, faction queues kick in or something. You know? So at least the underrepresented faction can still get players online quickly despite being vastly outnumbered.
I think the horde queue would not be a true answer to the problem, although I originally thought it would be a good idea. I think a possible better solutions is not a separate shard, but a phasing where after a certain % imbalance is achieved, say 25%, horde logging on would be phased to not be able to pvp, but could still play instead of sit in a queue. The phased players would be in a queue for the regular server and be moved when a spot would open up. Inside dungeons there would be no phasing so you could still do raids / dungeons with whomever is logged on. It is not a perfect solution, but it might be a happy medium for both sides.
