We need evil Pandarens

The lore behind pandaren and Pandaria more specifically kinda suggests that there wasn’t much if any room for ‘evil’ behavior in their culture or even much in the way of negative emotion because of the actual threat of Sha influence. But under this lens, I think it’s worth noting that not only would any potential villains have to contend with Sha influence, but even their potential victims - the Sha feed off of traits considered ‘negative’, which would come from both sides of any potential conflicts in various forms.

Bearing this in mind, it seems plausible that no pandaren really wanted to cause enough trouble to attract the Sha, because once they show up it’s kinda screwed for everybody. We saw this with Taran Zhu and the Shado-Pan when the unexpected arrival of and unfettered animosity between the Alliance and Horde pushed him over the edge and allowed him to be brought under the influence of an empowered Sha of Hatred, which along with the Sha of both Violence and Anger were able to break free of their confinement and wreak havoc in the Shado-Pan Monastery and Kun-Lai Summit.

I’d imagine it kinda pushes you to not be a bad guy when doing so can spawn an actual existential threat, right?

Garithose, purge of dalaran, having the races that did things like summon the legion or Ragnaros, etc ring any bells?

But you called the Houjin evil just because they are Horde when, they are not, your mistake is thinking that all races of the Horde are evil when, if you look closely, you wold notice that the only races that ever really did those things were 1) orcs or 2) forsaken, and the rest of the Horde was just dragged along.

At least when I questioned if it was not the Tushui you were talking about, I was just thinking more of the skelitons in the closet of the Alliance, but I suppose some of us have to live in a world where it is all black and white.

Isnt that kind of like counter to their whole species belief?

Have you seen a orc that doesn’t like to fisticuffs? I thought not lol.

Neither horde or alliance pandas can be considered evil.

Yeah, none of them hold a candle to the Path of Glory alone.
Or turning Gilneas into a giant gas chamber.
Or time-nuking Theramore.
Or burning Teldrassil.
lmao

More like because it was funny.
Way to try and turn a jape into a moral debate, pal.
Must be a riot at parties.

Oh, so being the first race to summon the Legion, kicking off the war of the ancients is nothing? the Dark Irons Summoning Ragnaros is shallow? and Everything you listed was done by:

  1. Orcs under the control of the Legion, not the Tauren, Darmkspear, Huojin or any of the orther races of the Horde
  2. Sylvanas, acting of her owl volition while playing lip service to Garrosh
  3. Done by Garrosh, without the other races of the Horde knowing about it unless they were part of it (like the Blood Elf Horde rescue in their version of that scenario)
  4. Ordered by Sylvanas, and carried out but some, like Saurfang, did object to it.

Oh, it might have been funny to you, and ot others, but to some of us? it is the same attitude that has been tossed at us by other alliance posters for years. Way to try and make a joke about something that only fools would find funny.

As far as I am concerned they all are already.

Indeed, an entire backstory is available. Lets make it deeper than 1 evil Panda - an entire ethnic - panda with a dark patch right eye v panda with a dark patch left ey

You’re taking the game way too seriously.

and you are forgetting that this game is played by real people, not all of which appriciate humor like yours. How about instead of trying to make it seem like I am the one in the issue, you think and try and see how you might have had a hand in calling this dance? or ins that too much for one that is afraid of consequence?

I am a good boy.

It was a joke

What about the Pandaren Warlock in the Lord Banehollow Warlock quest? He just made gas mask noises, so we don’t know how evil he was. Too bad he didn’t make it.

They wouldnt make a Pandaren villain because they are inherently goofy. The funny race. I main Pandaren because I love them, and not even I would be able to take them seriously as an evil character.

I have a Pandaren Gravewalker (DK), I’m pretty sure she’s not the morally cleanest individual.

Yes, that is correct.

Those are the ones that choose Horde.

Does your caretaker know you skipped your meds?

jade witch, nomi, the entire black market… considering the staggering lack of pandaren characters in the game we have quite a few shady pandas.

goblins are inherently goofy, plenty of them are villians too. your logic falls apart real quick.

Yeah because Im really going to take a villain who swings her arms side to side, has a daydreaming face and looks like a teddy bear seriously
